Not for Xfinity Mobile Network

Phone bought as a gift on July 5 for a person who has Xfinity mobile--Verizon network. On July 19 tied to activate, and was told by Xfinity mobile that the phone is not compatible with their network. On July 19 tried to return the phone to Best Buy, and was told "so sorry you are one day past the return period. You can buy the "super duper membership" (my words) for $50 to extend the return period, but there will still be a $45 restocking fee." What a scam--claiming a feature that the phone doesn't have, and trying to get close to $100 more out of me to return said phone that was bought only because of said lied about feature. Do NOT buy if you are an Xfinity mobile customer.

Unfortunately, as per our carrier compatibility page, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) isn't compatible with Xfinity Mobile. https://en-us.support.motorola.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/175436/~/moto-g-stylus-5g-%282023%29---carrier-compatibility. I understand how disappointing this situation is, especially with the return policy constraints.

Multiple Issues

Unfortunately both Moto G Stylus 5 G models have had issues that were unacceptable. The first had confirmed hardware issues, and the replacement unit had limited connectivity to both the mobile & wifi networks and (oddly) would not acknowledge or send texts consistently (even with new Sim card); also the touchscreen was frequently non-responsive. Spent 3 hrs. of troubleshooting with Moto reps and Verizon without any real help in finding or resolving the issues. Unfortunately, returning to try the Edge+.

Review moto 5g stylus 2023

I cracked my old phone and literally, you need the other phone to be able to transfer over. With todays increased need for multifactor authentication, i couldnt transfer my secured codes over since it needed verification from old phone, but the screen was completely cracked and had to repair it before i could transfer. What if my old phone just died? Then i wouldnt be able to transfer anything, i had over 30 mfa codes on the old phone and it was really frustrating
