Not Very Happy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After owning L G Phones for 10yrs+, I was a little skeptical about having to switch brands due to their discontinuence. The Moto G Sylus 5G easily accepted my SIM card, was easy to set up and transfer pics and data over from my old L G phone. The screen is beautiful and displays pictures very nicely, no issues with memory or apps not working. It is very easy to hear with and without speaker phone enabled, clarity is very good. Now for the not-so good. Maybe all phones are like this now, but my old L G phones I could use the volume UP/DOWN buttons on the side to control all master volumes, from very loud, down to low or vibrate only, to completely silent. If I walked in a meeting all I had to do was press the volume down button several times very quickly to get to vibrate or silent, it was very easy. On this motorola, the volume down button will only control one volume item at a time, which is usually the media sound. In order to lower the Call and Notifications volume, you literally have to open the settings page and change everything manually. This one limitation really ruins this nice phone for me because it is a feature I use constantly. And not being able to put all volumes on vibrate causes me to miss so many important notifications and calls, it makes this phone almost useless. The 2nd issue I have is the auto-flash setting on the camera, it never works. I can be in complete darkness and the auto-flash setting never works. I either have to manually turn the flash on or turn it off. Maybe there is some sensitivity setting buried somewhere, but I have neither the time or patience to go look for it. This is a feature that should be really easy. The 3rd issue is the motorola or 3rd party apps always sending me notifications about new products or something else they want to sell me. I constantly monitor my app usage at the top of the screen and always try to keep it clear, but every day there is something else I have to deal with. It is a nice quality phone, but messing up very simple features is really bad.

Great budget phone for an incidental user
