However, this newer version does not have the same battery life that the older Moto G had and it is a pretty green. The camera continues to be just okay and seems to be a bit slower to react than prior versions. Having the stylus allows me to sign documents and take notes without my laptop while on the road which is convenient.

If you're a stylus user, it's great! The cons are the sound quality is not the greatest & the power button has the fingerprint security on it. (this should be a separate button like my previous Moto Z2 play) as it's location is exactly where a person would touch while holding the phone making it constantly open.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, great phone overall, responsive, stylus does not have to fit a certain way anymore, front camera in a better position, finger print reader better than before. Screen very smooth with 60-120hz refresh rate. 5000mah is better, a small but better improvement. The 8gb of ram is a major improvement, everything opens and runs very smoothly. Screen brightness about the same as 2021 model, size and shape about the same, so it feels very familiar. BUT... I use Verizon pre-paid unlimited 5g plan, this phone does not seem to be recognized on my Verizon account when I swap device names and I can't activate a 5g sim card, the 4g LTE still works no problem. Verizon couldn't even figure it out. The only possible reasons is it doesn't work for Verizon pre-paid or it's simply because it's unlocked and doesn't have the Verizon software installed as if it were purchased through Verizon. My only other complaint is this phone lacks a 4K video record feature. Hopefully there is a future update that can fix the 5G issue I have, but otherwise great overall.

Stylus plus 5G

I'm just getting use to and learning how to best utilize my new phone. An added plus was the availability of 5G. That definitely was worth the buy since the Motorola adapts to 5G & 4G service all the way down to 2G in remote areas. And I'm really enjoying the extra battery life.

However, people on the other side of my calls sometimes would say that I'm inaudible, so the microphone in the phone might not be the best. One thing I love about this phone is the camera, it does take some decent photos
