I love it. Not a great camera (in it's default mode - the Pro mode is much better results.) It's display is comparatively dim and weak colors compared to other 2022 models, but still better than the 4 year old Samsung it replaced. But the storage and battery are stellar, and the performance is beyond great for the tier. They def overbuilt this one in the rush to add 5G processing power. The biggest screen for the time is nice, and the stylus is even useful for drawing and painting apps, but not much else. 512GB straight out of the box was amazing surprise (256GB was already a selling win, then opening the box and discovering they included a 256GB SD card already installed - whoah!) Top of tier, and all other above it for storage. At the price - just wow. The battery. The beautiful battery life. Even heavy usage it will get 2 full days from a charge (with screen dimmed for indoor usage - I use an app that lets me toggle diff brightness levels, and 23% is plenty for basic indoor usage, and really stretches the life. It is a huge screen to power) With my average usage, I get 3-4 days between charges (only to 80% from 20-30% starting level. Best for battery health, and *still* amazing.) Performance is snappy and with fancy animations and stuff turned off, immediate results on all scrolling and other inputs. Almost feels like it's anticipating my next move. Cannot recommend enough. 5/5 even with average camera and screen

I really love my Moto G. It has more features than I expected. I like being able to go to any carrier I choose. I like that I can upgrade my device with more memory. Unlike other popular phones you are not allowed to do any updates without having to purchase a new phone. Above all I like the price and the sleek design and the camera as well. I would recommend this brand to anyone.

I really like this phone!! I was a little worried because I always used Samsung phones but it actually isn't bad sh all. I would but it again. Easy to use just be sure and put a shock proof case on immediately. I dropped my new phone the first time I took it out of the box and the screen is broken. Never have I broke a phone screen. I've been devestated

This phone would be adequate; pretty standard Android with nice large screen. However I ordered 256G but it came with 128. It's quirky, doing things randomly. The length means it tips & falls out of pockets. The case scratches easily and it's not resilient. The stylus sometimes pops out. Not sure if the stylus is what's causing the random screen switches etc. Battery is only fair. If you buy this make sure you get a case, screen protector with extras, & insurance. It holds the 4G LTE well, might be okay for a sedentary person.

I purchased this June of 23 and it has been overheating and the battery drains easily. According to BB, I need to talk to Motorola, but they told me it was activated Feb 23, a full 4 months before I bought it, so now they won't fix it since they said it's out of warranty and to talk to Best Buy. When I did, the woman said that they only handle iPhone and that there's absolutely nothing that can be done. Somehow, that doesn't seem quite right, especially after spending so much on a phone. I can't afford to shell out that much all of the time. I was hung up on by the woman I was speaking with at Best Buy . That not the first time it's ever happened either. They never want to resolve issues or let you speak to someone higher. Battery sucks on this phone. It also has apps that are pre-installed that can't be removed or stopped that drain the battery and use up storage.

Looks and sounds good but there is no point in having a phone if it doesn't work. I have had problems with texts & voice mail coming through 15-30 minutes later and ppl can't call me. Either it will not ring at all or they will have to call me four times before it's starts to ring on their end. Thought it was just mine but my mom has the same phone with the same issues.

I recently had a series of bad experiences with Samsung S22 Ultras. Tired of false promises, heavily modified Android, and just broken functions, I got rid of it and grabbed this phone - well, last years model. I gave that to a family member and then bought this one. What a surprise for such an inexpensive phone. While not OLED, the screen quality is fantastic. The speed of this phone is hands down way faster than the “premium” Samsung phone and, upon popping the SIM card tray out, I discovered a 256GB already in the phone! Thinking this to be a trick, after setting the phone up, I immediately went into the storage settings to find… 256GB on board and 256GB Micro SD! Using a little ADB trickery, it’s now a 512GB phone with NO performance hit. I can’t say how happy I am with this phone! Originally, I was disappointed with the 2021 version as it had no NFC. That was a dealbreaker for me, but not enough to return it. Giving it to a family member netted them a much newer phone with everything they need - and that wasn’t NFC. While the 2021 and 2022 models lack wireless charging, I don’t mind. I also don’t mind that the Turbo charging is still much slower than both Samsung and iPhone. The reason being is this phone actually lives up to its two day promise on battery life. Slow charging it better for the lifespan of the battery anyway, so I let it charge overnight. The big downsides is this thing scratches easily and it’s IS NOT waterproof at all. It’s water resistant, meaning I can get a little rain on it and no big deal; it falls into water and it’s toast. Luckily, I don’t use any phone near the sinks, toilets, or pools. I’ve had a lot a cellphones. For the money, this phone is highly impressive. Just get a case and screen protector to protect it from scratches and just don’t drop it. It’s unlocked, and you’re paying what other phones actually cost to make. Let that sink in. Other phones cost $400-500 to make, with a near 250% markup. You’re getting a snappy fast phone minus an expansive screen super cameras you’ll most likely not notice or need and wireless charging. The pros greatly outweighs the cons due to the price and not worth knocking any stars off. I highly recommend this phone for anyone who wants a larger format phone without breaking the bank.

I have loved Motorola phones for years and the Stylus 5G (2022) is no exception. The 5G works on low and mid 5G bands on T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile (the latter is what I use), and speeds are consistent and fast, often utilizing the mid tier rather than the lower spectrum. Unlike the Moto 5G Ace, it also utilizes LTE networks so you can get service when 5G isn't available. Call quality is great, battery life is outstanding. Phone comes with 256GB built-in storage AND a 256GB microSD card preinstalled. The 8GB of RAM is also a definite step up from last year's Stylus models. The phone opts for an LCD screen as opposed to an OLED, but the screen is crisp, and unlike all previous Stylus models, this comes NFC ready. The only drawbacks is the camera is not going to take pictures that will win any photography awards, although still quite serviceable, and it only has a single speaker as opposed to stereo ones more common in phones in this price range. But Moto works for me for a clean android experience without bloatware nor duplicate apps that other more popular makers force on their phones. Its a pretty pure android experience and I have been so far very happy with my purchase.

Very Nice! Only one issue I do not like. I love that it has 256gb space, and came with free micro sd card 256gb. I already had a 400gb micro sd card. So I put the 256 one in my laptop to use there. I like it had 8gb ram. This is also with NFC too. That is very nice to have. This was a nice upgrade from the OnePlus Nord N20 5G I had before it. Now, the only issue I have is, that it does not really have fast charging, or it did not have fast enough charger, that came with it. 10 watts charger. I just order another 18 watt charger off Motorola site. Hope it works and does faster. Otherwise, that slow charging is the only thing on this phone that irritates me bad. They did just release the newer 2023 version of this phone but way undercut features from it, that it is a downgrade from this older version. I would not get that one, if they do not offer same 256gb and 8gb ram with NFC version. I recommend this one over the newer one, if that is the case.

Hi utahman1971, we appreciate you for taking the time to share this post with us. We're glad you got one of our Motorola devices. The Moto G Stylus (2022) supports a 15W-20W charging speed. Using a more powerful charger should not damage anything, however, we recommend only using the charger that came with the phone.
