Customers are saying

Customers admire the Moto G Stylus for its remarkable camera quality, affordable price, and the convenience of the stylus feature. The long battery life and ample storage space are also highly appreciated. While some users have concerns about its durability, the lack of wireless charging, NFC, and a slight learning curve, these drawbacks seem to be outweighed by the phone's overall strengths.

I bought this for the camera and am not disappointed, but I am so impressed with the stylus! I had no idea how much I'd love it. It's so much easier to actually type what I want to say and click on the right things with the precision of the fine point. The battery, speakers, and screen size are also impressive. A small thing, but I love how the camera auto detects when I'm taking pictures of food, plants, or people to adjust the settings for better quality. The only downside I've found is that I can't find a screen protector that works with the stylus; cannot increase touch sensitivity.

This phone for $300.00 unlocked is the real deal. Great battery life Good camera system Plenty of memory storage plus expandable Android 10 out of the box Stylus for productivity Dual stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby The only con I could find is the lack of NFC would have put it over the top among budget phones. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable phone on a budget right now

My previous phone died recently and I waited 2 weeks for this phone to release. So far I am pleased, very nice camera system, nice screen and it feels responsive and modern. Even the stylus I didn't think I would like it nice and fun to use. And it looks fantastic with it's modern design. Great battery life, even though it's not the power model. You know how it is when you get a new phone, you can't leave it alone the first few days. Day 2 I unplugged at 5am, played on it a lot all day. Had over 9 hours of screen on time mostly on cellular service without a great signal at my office, and I still had 5% battery left then I plugged back in at bed time around 1am. My only complaint is I'm a one handed user, it's large size, slippery material and extremely thin bezels make it difficult to use one handed. My next purchase will be a case and hopefully that will cure the problem. But that's not this phone's fault, just a modern phone problem I haven't gotten used to yet coming from a Moto g5 plus.

The G stylus has a great Camera, navigation speed, surround sound, battery life and Oh yeah it makes phone calls too. Never was one to need a stylus but it works really well for a quick note. Locks in place even with a phone case. High quality night photos and professional looking portrait shots. Don't get locked into a payment plan on a $600+ phone, this one will work well for all of your needs. So far battery life is about 2 days with regular use. I had a Samsung Galaxy S6 and wife had an S7. We both switched to Motorola and haven't been disappointed.

Unbelievable phone for the price. Best speakers I have ever heard including those on a flagship phone. Stylus is sufficient to take the necessary notes I need. 128 storage is perfect for all my photos. Not the top of the line of operating systems but, this phone is fast enough for me. Easily installed all the apps I use and they operate perfectly. Battery life is outstanding! Did I mention battery life is outstanding. Screen resolution is great. Still figuring out camera settings. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the lower light I'm experiencing on my photos.

I got tired of spending big bucks on a phone that offered more than I needed so when it was time to get rid of my Samsung Note 8 I went to this phone as I like the stylus feature. Considering that it was about a quarter of the price of a new Samsung I consider it money well saved. This phone does everything I need it to do so far but it has been a somewhat steep learning curve on how the different apps function on it. After a month or so I am starting to get a good handle on it and am glad to stuff that $750 back in my pocket instead of blowing in on the Samsung.

I replaced my OnePlus 7 Pro, a "flagship" phone costing more than $550, with the Moto G Stylus. at half the price. I don't miss a thing! Excellent hd display, stylus included (none on the OnePlus), speed not noticeably slower than the OnePlus, Special Moto gestures to turn on flashlight, etc., are very useful. And the battery life is crazy good! With my usage, it can easily last 48 hurs or more. I'm not going to pay ridiculous prices ($500, $1000, or even $1500!!!) for any overpriced "flagship" phone in the future. This Moto G Stylus suits me just fine.

Bought the phone for my son in middle school, great battery last hom for almost 2 days. the memory capacity is awesome, I can download all apps I want because of the 128 gb capacity. Camera & memory specs are much better than comparable phones in the same price range. Battery life is excellent. Stylus is a nice bonus.. Screen is clear & bright, however screen is super sensitive which can be very irritating at the wrong time. (Don't swipe to input text unless you want to constantly re-edit.) I was a bit disappointed at the lack of wireless charging. But all in all its a very good phone at a very nice price... if you are not looking to invest an outrageous amount of money it costs to purchase the current top of the line phone, I definitely recommend this phone.

For the Price this phone works Great! This is a Step UP from my Galaxy S9+ that Samsung broke and would not support. I am loving this phone. The Stylus is convenient and has tracking built in. The Only down side is that there is No wireless charging. You really can't beat this phone for the price.

The phone feels nice. Looks great. Very responsive and snappy. Very clean UI as always with little upgrades. Motorola is by far one of the best brands for mid rangers. Great camera with some new features. Battery seems great still have to find out over a couple months. Moto keeps bringing the hits for Budget beasts. Recently I had the Samsung a50 and the umidigi power 3. Both very cool phones. Think I like the power 3 more because it basically joins the Moto stylus and power in one phone but I use Sprint and the Moto g stylus still packs in some CDMA bands. Phones are all pretty much the same in Android land but some just work better, allot better in some cases but with this phone it checks all the right boxes.

The Motorola Moto G Stylus Cell phone will make you feel smart for not spending a thousand dollars on a cell. Overall, this is a very nice phone with a great camera system. When you pull out the stylus, the photo automatically opens Moto notes for a quick response to writing a note. The phone has a number of shortcuts to navigate, but also allows for the old style of navigation using the customary buttons. Overall, a great phone for the price. One side note is that even if it is an unlocked phone, Verizon will not allow unlocked phones that they do not sell to be used on their system. So double check with your carrier before you make a purchase or sign up for a phone plan. I would definitely purchase this phone again and I highly recommend it.

After comparing many phones I decided to try this one. The specs seem just as good if not better than some of the more popular phones. Love the cameras, they take great shots. I enjoy having the stylus too, I've been more likely to take a quick note using that. The phone is lovely in the color too, but it is super slick and will slip out of grip easy, definitely get a case! The battery has lasted me more than 24 hrs too, even with heavy usage. Only thing in my opinion that would make the phone perfect is if it would charge wirelessly, but I still like the turbo charger feature and get a full charge from dead battery to 100% in 2 hours. Overall, I definitely recommend this phone.

This is a very reasonably priced phone and it was a big improvement from the Samsung Galaxy alpha phone that I had before it. I love the built-in stylus. I used my Moto g stylus for about 3 months and then decided out of the blue to become a gig worker and do instacart so I used this Moto g for instacart for about 10 months but then realized I needed to have a better edge on snagging instacart orders faster which meant I needed a 5G phone which this Moto g stylus is not. It is a 4G LTE phone and that is perfectly fine for normal everyday use but when you need to have the fastest mobile internet connection possible to snag orders up from other fellow competitive instacart gig workers nearby, you better get yourself a faster phone. That's nothing against this phone at all. I love this Moto g stylus and I still continued to use it even though it wasn't active with a phone number. That's going to soon change because my Moto g is going to be once again used as a phone with a separate number so I can do even more gig work. A 4G LTE connection is perfectly fine for a lot of gig apps such as food delivery apps or other gig jobs like Task Rabbit. It's a great phone made by a great company. Motorola to me has always met good quality and this goes back many many years to when I had cordless phones and then flip phones from them. This Moto g has a pretty good battery life. And Motorola has built into this phone some really neat features like taking a screenshot with holding your three fingertips down on the screen then letting go. Or to bring up the flashlight you just give it a quick double shake and up comes the light then a quick double shake to turn it off. If you want to bring up the camera you just give it a quick wrist twist and up comes the camera. There's a lot more neat Motorola features like that with this phone so learn them and use them. This particular model is a 2020 version but they've since made a newer 2021 version that has all the same cool features and then some but if you're looking to buy an older phone to save money that works fine then this is definitely it.

I bought two of these as early Christmas presents and they are a hit. My daughter had a Samsung before and wasn't sure if she would like this. Didn't take her but a few days to figure out how much she would enjoy it. My wife was easier to please and she has been satisfied with hers as well. They stay charged for long periods and have performed anything needed. The cameras are a nice feature as is the 128GB of Memory. I would recommend these to anyone wanting a good phone without breaking the bank. The stylus was a feature that my daughter has enjoyed as a bonus.

The number 1 thing I love about this is the stylus. It is pretty awesome, you can choose colors to write with using your stylus or finger. I work with people who have hearing problems and this is so easy to bring out and use. You know how it is hard to understand sometimes we with everyone wearing masks now? I can just pull out my phone and write out a quick clarification. So easy and convenient! This phone has Dolby speakers and good sound. I have a preference for instrumentals and this phone doesn't make me want to shut it off. There is a quad panel action camera that really makes some beautiful pictures. My only downside is battery life, I work long hours and it barely makes it through my 12 hour shift. No big deal, I just bring the charger as that's just a minor blip compared to what it can do. I have had several different kinds of phones over the years and I am now a die hard Motorola fan.

I'd consider this at the upper end of budget phones. Pros: Lots of memory, plus a microsd card slot Pretty good cameras including macro Good battery - lasts about two days for me Headphone jack Stereo speakers sound very good Cons (very few): No palm rejection Display is just ok imo Wifi calling does not work on Verizon. I believe I was told it only works on Sprint and T-Mobile if I remember correctly. The phone is very slippery - I definitely wouldn't use it without a case. Nice looking back though. I got a clear case. Overall, so far I've been thrilled with the phone.

Coming from a Moto G6, it was a simple matter to swap out the SIM and micro SD cards, d/load the Aps and use Google to restore the previous settings. Like that this has stereo speakers which are adequate as a substitute for my bluetooth portable speakers in a pinch. Have used the pen for simple notes and it's a good enough for my needs. Looking forward to trying out the varied camera modes. I was fortunate to find an open box unit in excellent shape which added to the already great Black Friday price reduction.

Great value for a modern phone with a stylus. It's no Note but not everyone wants to spend a grand on a phone. Even has a headphone jack! Biggest complaint is no wireless charging or nfc but the main user doesn't care about those features anyways. Action camera is ok. Screen color accuracy is not the greatest but you'll only know when comparing with higher end phones. Charges fast like all Motorola phones.

Purchased one for my wife and one for myself. The battery life is great and you can't beat the camera. The processing is pretty fast for what I use it for (social media, email, texting) and you can't beat the internal storage space, even though I also added a micro-SD for even more storage. The screen is nice and large, but not overly so. It fits in the hand nicely. I do recommend a case as the phone is a bit slippery.
