I wanted an inexpensive phone so got this. Seems to have all the features of an expensive phone. The body is made of plastic so that looks a little obvious. Lightweight. A pretty standard phone overall, not experienced any issues. If you're going for something expensive looking then this is not it.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A MOTOROLA GIRL..AND THIS PHONE DIDN'T DISAPPOINT.. IT GETS GREAT SIGNAL ,ALWAYS BETTER THAN THE SAMSUNG,,FANTASTIC PICS WITH ITS AWESOME CAMERA,NICE LARGE CLEAR DISPLAY WITH GOOD BATTERY LIFE..I WOULD RECOMMEND FOR SURE

Easy to use, excellent camera , sound is great and so as the battery. Will defenetly reccomend.

Don't underestimate this phone because of the price. Being an unlocked phone made make things go a lot smoother without being bogged down by cell phone carrier software.

Got this phone for my son as an inexpensive phone for him to use in high school. Works well. Had one issue where the screen had an issue but Motorola sent us a replacement and it has worked fine since. Great inexpensive alternative to an iPhone

It's a nice Android phone, if you want something for cheap. However I sometimes have issues when I am talking on the phone, but it could my network otherwise you get what you paid for.

Got this phone due to an emergency (dropped phone in toilet)... Decided on this one because of: Android, nice screen, great battery, good camera, works with GSM...and of course, WATERPROOF! The only reason I'm deducting a star I'd because some headphones or earphones doesn't work with it, it may be a design flaw but I tested it and it only works with headphones with 2 lines on the 3mm plug, if it has 3 or more lines, no audio comes out of the headphones...smh But other than that, it is a really good unlocked phone for the money

Bought this phone for my 10-year-old and he loves it. it was a bit of a step up from what he had before and he has been enjoying it for the past 11 months. I couldn't be happier. Would recommend it if buying for a child.

Ok, so the G4 Play is not he newest phone out there but it just works. Battery life is good and android runs smoothly. If you are looking for a good solid smart phone at a cheap price look at this one. Picture is good and call quality / sound is good as well. Get a glass screen protector because I do not think it has Gorilla glass.

I bought this phone for my wife after her other unlocked phone crashed. We are on a non-contract service and need an affordable, unlocked phone. So far, we are both really impressed with the Moto G4 Play. it has great battery life, quick and fast response time, a really nice screen, and great build quality. Plus, you are getting a name brand phone on a budget. Other phones in this price range just don't compare to the quality. Definitely consider this phone even if you aren't on a non-contract plan.

Love this unlocked smartphone, bought it on 11/21 to replace a ZTE Net 10 smartphone that quit working. Bought it online for $150 and had it shipped to me and received it in a couple days. BB didn't have any in stock at any stores in my area. I Put the sim card from old Phone in it, powered it up and in less then 5 minutes it was working without any issues. I like the fact that it has a clean Android OS and doesn't have all the junk apps that come standard on in network phones. I don't need all of those extra apps anyway. Kind of like installing a clean version of windows on a computer. Phone has good battery life, I can go more than two days before needing to recharge it. Good volume for ringer and earpiece. Haven't tried Bluetooth yet. It gets good signal strength almost everywhere, usually LTE. Net 10 uses AT&T for there carrier. Has good screen brightness and takes very good pics and video with rear camera, haven't tried front cam. It is also quite fast at web browsing and email downloads. Overall, I am very satisfied with this phone and would recommend it to anyone looking for a inexpensive smartphone that doesn't have all the battery sucking bloatware installed.

Being retired, I don't use my cell phone much and have been using Tracfone service to handle my call, text and internet needs. I needed a better phone without having to go to the bank for a loan. The Motorola Moto 4g Play is perfect! The price was right and it has exceeded my needs. Now I have enough processing power and memory to really use my phone for shopping, games, photos. So nice to be able to use online coupons or check directions or call ahead for reservations. Today I was able to use a sku scanner to check prices while shopping without having to find a sales clerk. This phone does it all and more for me!

We had a different kind of Motorola phone before. After that Motorola phone, we got a Note4 then an LGV10 which are both cool but became nonfunctional after 12 months. We decided to go back to Motorola and are very glad we got it and the price is very affordable. We paid cash for it and don't have to worry about monthly payments. Nice thing about it is its an unlocked phone and the camera works just fine. We just finish paying off the Note 4 and will be paying off the LGV10 after a few more months. Once all those monthly payments are out of the way, we are getting another Motorola phone.

I've owned this phone for four months now and it is perfect for my needs. The MotoG4 Play proves you don't need to break the bank to get a great phone. Screen is nice size with crisp image. Camera is adequate for me but definitely takes better pics outside. Nougat software is easy to navigate. Love the stock Android experience. No waisting memory with unnecessary bloatware. I did add a SD card and and formatted it as internal memory. I now have more space than I'll need. Activated on AT&T easily. This is my first Moto and will definitely buy again in the future.

I bought this phone for my husband to replace a cheapo walmart special phone from Tracfone. My husband loves this phone and it works SO MUCH better than his old one. Also, best buy price matched a sale price so it worked out awesome!

Only found one problem. Sometimes my blue tooth will not connect to my car. I have to turn my phone off and back on, to get it to connect.

Great price and value. The phone has the basics and works just as well as the higher priced, name brand phones. Would purchase again.

If you don't want to commit with your cell carrier with a $600 and up phones. If your new to smart phones this would be a good start.

It does not have all the bells and whistles, but at this price it is a good buy. Only time will tell with how well it holds up. I would not expect any future OS updates.

We bought this after my son's iPhone was damaged and we had to mail it in for repair. We wanted something fairly cheap, but still able to do the basics. We went for the cheapest one at Best Buy that supported our network. Best Buy didn't have the proper SIM for it so we had to go to the carrier, but they pulled it right up and activated it without any issues. The phone itself is better than we expected. We wanted him to be able to text, call, take pics, post, and do basic net things, but he's actually able to stream with it with pretty good quality. Our biggest complaint is the delay in the services themselves. When sitting next to him, I called to test the activation and there was a 2-3 second delay between speaking and hearing. We tested the same thing with the iPhones and there was no delay. Also, when we text, there is a significant delay (minutes) between transmittal and receiving. Again, we tested this by doing group texts and everyone else got the text within seconds where this phone took a couple minutes. Still, it's not a high priced phone, it does everything he needs it to do, and it seems to do it reliably even if a little slowly. It's definitely going to remain as our backup phone.
