The one I received was total garbage. It turned itself off numerous times per day. Locked up. Was difficult to get back running, went off and interrupted calls and messages.... and finally just turned off ALL sounds one night. I would not have another Motorola.

Good replacement for honor 8

So one day I was walking in the parking lot and my elbow hit a car's side mirror and my honor 8 took a dive into the asphalt. Screen cracked and all, I decided to look for a new phone. One of the key features on a phone for me were same side ports, volte, and wifi calling as well as all the necessary lte bands being supported, in my case 2, 4, 12, and 66 with 71 being an exception. And the moto g6 fits the bill perfectly. Wifi calling and volte work with tmo. I have access to all my ports on the bottom so when I connect my phone to my car all the wires flow in the side direction cleanly. Camera is decent, bokeh is pretty good because of the wide aperture. The the 10g the g6 has over the honor 8 is definitely noticeable.
Important thing to note is that in the product description, it says the 64gb g6 has 3gb of ram. This is a lie. The 64gb variant of the moto g6 has exactly 4gb don't be fooled.

A lot of issues (Camera, phone, audio, slow)

The only thing I like about this phone is the size. The back of the phone is glass, so be very careful if you choose to ignore the reviews as I did. I barely dropped the phone and the back cracked very bad as well as the front. They didn't have a cover for it when I got it, so I was out of luck.
The other issue is the camera. Awful. It takes a lot of time to focus on one object and you get several blurry photos before you can get a good one. I never cared about the camera on a phone until I got this one.
Another issue is people hearing my. I hear them just fine, but for some reason, I'm told I sound like I'm under water or it's stat-icky. I thought it might have been an issue on the other end until I received several complaints. This was before dropping the phone by the way and someone else who has this phone received the same complaint.
It is also very very very slow. OMG, did I say that it was slow. The space on it is great, no complaint there, but while trying to browse and search, Mr. Turtle will get their faster. Trust me, even my phone wants to commit suicide and end it quicker. I'm not sure what the deal is. I'm getting a different one, this one is just not cutting it.
All I can think of right now. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Money down the drain.

Misleading Specs

Livid!! If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I bought this phone specifically because the Best Buy specs listed the phone as having the NFC feature. I was going to get the 32GB, in the Oyster Blush, but I saw that the 64GB for some reason has the NFC feature and the 32GB does not. That should have been a red flag.
There is a $50 difference in price between the two and I preferred the Oyster color, but I really wanted that feature so I decided to spend the extra money. I got the phone today and it does not have the NFC feature. I called Best Buy and the rep I spoke to said it should have it and to call Motorola. I called Motorola and they said it does not have it. I asked the rep if any of their phones have NFC and he said no. The only possibility is if it was manufactured outside of the U.S.
So now I feel stuck.
