Good phone as backup or if you are not looking for top of line performance. In this age of $1,000 phones, this Moto does (almost) everything a top of line phone will for 1/4 of the cost. Not the fastest or with the best camera, but fine for everyday use or as a backup to the $750 phone.

Sometimes you can barely hear the person on the other end even when the volume is turned all the way up. At times you havevto turn on the speaker. I couldn't find a case to fit this phone at any of the stores. I have to orde it on line. Other than that it's a nice phone.

Still learning the phone. The volume of the ring is lower that my last phone so I have to make sure I keep it close to hear. It is really slick & slides off a lot. First phone I had to get a case for just for the safety of the phone. I like the finger print, pass code, or facial recognition to unlock is nice. I don’t use a bunch of apps, play games, watch videos or check emails on my phone.
The person at Best Buy did NOT transfer my information & handed my old phone & new phone stacked on the box. They slid off & fell to the floor & cracked the screen of my old phone.

Hi
I am moto man. I have been using Moto phones since the G4 days and have always been surprised with every new model Moto comes.
The last phone I had was G7 and it was just amazing. I liked the glass back and everything else. When I saw the deal for G7 plus, I was excited and brought it immediately.
Tell you, this phone is no way near to G7 or even any Moto phone.
1. Looks similar to what G7 is.
2. No improvement in performance. Whatsapp and other apps frequently hang and phone reboots
3. Battery- I need to charge thrice a day. Same amount of usage with G7, I used to charge only once a day.
4. Tried to return it to best buy but they asked $50 restocking fee. The phone itself was $119 so I didn't bother.
One star for Moto
One star for Best Buy.
Good luck and please don't buy this phone.

So far so good. This is a good phone for a good price. Nothing to knock your socks off but the performance has been well above what you would normally expect at this price. It is particularly suitable for someone who doesn't like the UI in the newer Motorola models (e.g., no Home button) but appreciates the usual Motorola perks such as Moto actions and a clean version of Android.

It is my first Motorola phone. Compared to my other phones, this one if very large. That is important because I have small hands. There are things that I have to consider due that that. But, otherwise, I do like the phone. When you press a key or touch the screen to perform an action, there is only one press or click. (That was the BANE of my previous phone; 3 clicks for one action! Like catching 3 buses to get across the street.) The colors are sharp and clear, as is the sound. I have a few health apps that I depend upon which use Bluetooth. They work well with this phone. That would have been a deal breaker. However I have experienced no issues so far. The camera is not as good as the last phone, but I am not using it for a profession, so I can abide it. This was an OMG, my phone broke and I need another TODAY, phone. I don't think I could have gotten as good a deal on a totally suitable substitute elsewhere, and definitely not as quickly. I am completely happy with my purchase and look forward to knowing my phone better in the long future.

I had to get a new phone due to my wireless carrier not supporting 3G. My previous phone was a Pantech that had a slide out keyboard. I did not use most of the features. The Motorola-moto g7 plus is my first smart phone. The first day was a little overwhelming but every day I learn more and use most of the features. I really like the Motorola-moto g7 plus and would recommend purchasing one.

Good phone for the price paid... Has most of the bells and whistles as a new Galaxy just at a cheaper price. Bought this as a back up phone and unlocked to use for travel to the Caribbean, so this works perfectly.

Bought to replace a Moto G(7). Luckily, the case for the old phone fits. Everything works as it should. The price is unbeatable and I was already familiar with the proprietary features. It's an upgrade from the G7, although, you can't really tell unless you pay close attention to detail.

Wowww great phone, excellent price, extremely satisfied, highly recommend, for its price and visual and sound display very competitive against any phone in its range. Definitely in excellent category: great price, size, performance, sound, get the plan and the price is even better.....

The quality of the phones is awesome. Coming from an iPhone user this phone astheticly feels like an iPhone. And the charging time for this phone is fast. We’re talking 100% in less than an hour. Battery will last you a good 8-9 hours depending on usage. Just a thing I don’t like about the phone is the lack of cases for it. It was a pain to find a clear one.

Good cheap replacement phone, but I wouldn't spend more than $80. There are better models that are just a few dollars more. Mine lasted and worked well until one day, when it was not in a protective case, it broke. I could not find a phone of equal caliber within the price point.

Good display. Nice sound. But man, what a battery hog. The advertised three days on a charge is BS. Also, there are NO cases available for this model. Your best bet is on Ebay and Amazon where the reviews are all over the place because it's tricky to get a case that fits this phone 100% I'm considering returning it even with the restocking fee.
No more Motorola!

I love this phone, the battery life is okay, it always took less than an hour to get fully charge, also love the flash light gesture, for the price of 120 buck on sale, it's the best budget phone money can buy based on my experience and opinion, after all I don't use most of the features on my previous Samsung flagship phone it replaced.
