I got this phone for Christmas and it's really nice overall. Good speakers, decent processing speeds, handles all the games I've played decently. Good call quality, absolutely wonderful camera quality!! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of how easily the darn screen scratches! I've got two scratches on the screen already and have barely had it a week. Haven't dropped it, ran anything across it, or anything. I've actually been babying it to death while waiting for my case to arrive so I'm shocked that it's already got two scratches. My old phone that I had for a year has no scratches and neither does my three year old iPhone. Quite disappointing but the screen is really vibrant and bright so I don't even really notice. Speaking of the screen, it's so pretty that it looks AMOLED to me which is nice. Just wish it didn't scratch.

A $400 phone for $190. I can live with that. Though I have a hunch the phone is being discontinued. So the price was a deciding factor. Anyway on my third full day with this phn and no real complaints. The Moto gestures and I are not getting along, betting it is the operator. Updated to Oreo 8.1, did a series of anitional security updates, and then onto Pie 9.0. Part of the reason I purchased this phone is the Android One. It is as promissed. The phone overall is reasonably fast. The camera is good, be it front or rear. For sure not professional level but as a snap and go camera. Mine is the 32GB model and at the moment after adding the apps I prefer, just shy of 16GB left. For my usage, more than enough. Now if I run across a stray new-in-the-box Moto x4 at a very reasonable cost, may purchase as a possible gift or some sort of backup. Was the phone worth $190, most definatly yes, but worth $400, not so much considering other phones in the same price range. Thank you

This replaces my Motto G4 which was a good unlocked phone. It has a better processor, more memory, more built in sensors and higher resolution cameras than the G4 and I paid less for it. The FM Radio is noisier than the G4. I chose this over the Motto G6. It has plenty of features I may never use, but unlocked phones are the way to go. They are less expensive and don't have the Carrier bloatware that takes up storage and gets in your way.

I was looking at the Moto G6 but liked the specs on this phone and the price , Have had it for 1 month , For a Mid grade phone the is a nice phone . It responds well and good battery life and charges fast with Turbo mode. Love the finger print sensor, This is a Android One phone which is unlocked and does not come with the pre-installed apps from your carrier which most people never use and can never uninstall. Make sure you buy a case the phone is very slippery since it has a glass back. The only negative it does not have wireless charging. But I still gave it 5 stars . Mine has already updated to Android 9.0. My wife got the 32 Gb I got the 64Gb. She loves her phone she upgraded from Samsung S4

I am new to the smartphone world and so far have found this phone to be easy to use and intuitive. It functions as advertised including a pretty good battery life. The camera function is better than my regular digital camera and the sound quality overall is very good. It has 32 Gigs with 16 already used to set up the phone functions. It will take time to see if this number of gigs will be enough. Since I will not be gaming or streaming video I think, as a basic phone for talking, texting and checking emails this will be fine.

Stepped down from Samsung Galaxy features to the Moto X and don't feel like I've missed much. By now, my phones are threatening to die, but the Moto X isn't letting me down. It's a decent phone that offers much of what I had in the Galaxy. As I approach the two-year mark and likely planned obsolesce, I notice it is not holding a charge throughout the entire day. I do have it loaded to near capacity though. Like all phones now, I really dislike that it has an unreplaceable battery. I am disappointed in the picture quality the most. It has a tough screen...doesn't scratch or break. It is serving me well and the price was right. I would recommend the Moto X.

I've been interested in the Moto X4 since it came out but I didn't want to spend the $400 or so that was the going price. I've been a Moto phone user for years, most recently a G4. But that phone started to behave erratically so I was in the market for a replacement. When I saw the great sale Best Buy was offering for the X4 (less that $150!) I acted quickly. I especially like how little bloatware Motorola puts on the phone. I want something as close to the pure Android experience as possible and this phone delivers. In addition, the finger print reader, blue tooth, NFC and camera work well. I installed a microSD card so the standard 32GB is no problem.

Came across this unlocked phone as an open box item and was able to get it for 1/2 of what it normally would have been, which made it 3 times cheaper than getting a new phone thru my carrier. Gotta love getting GREAT deals! This was a replacement phone for my teenage son and he has shown me several awesome features on it. He has had multiple phones over the years, but says this one is by far the best!

Phone was better than I have expected. Camera options was awesome All in all, it is a good phone especially for the price The reason I gave 4 stars is because the size is only 5.2. It would have been better if it is 6 inches screen size

This phone has been running all my apps with no problems. I watch a lot of you tube videos and music with no problems. The pictures are great. I was tired of spending the high dollars for the flagship phones from Apple, Samsung, and Pixel. I am very happy that I purchased this phone instead.

phone was already cracked when it was taken out of the box by best buy employee. took 3 hours for them to figure out how to set it up for me and then it was not done correctly. I had to redo some on my own

This phone is excellent. Fast, expandable, slim, sleek and good battery life. I still can't believe anyone would be willing to pay nearly three times the price for top tier device when compared to the functionality of this one.

This tech is a full year old in late '18, but as such it can be had for a nice price. A solid mid-range Android phone with everything a Motorola user will be used to.

This phone isn't as large as the big phablets. But, that's what I wanted. The camera is wonderful. I love the stock Android OS that has little bloatware. I've had a couple Moto X phones, and love the curved back. If you want a mid-sized Android phone with a great camera, this is for you.

Very happy with this purchase. Pictures are amazing. Still trying to get the hang of how to use it coming from an iPhone but very happy so far

Had iPhone before. Love my new Moto 4! Better reception. Better audio. MUCH better camera. And less than 1/2 the price. What's not to Love!

Love this phone, but wish it had a larger screen. Other than that this phone does it all and you can't beat the price. I have been very happy with Motorola products.

Good phone for those of us who mostly talk and text. Reception is good. Easy to use. Good phone without the high price!

This phone is fast, pictures from camera are great. Worth every dollar.. Works great on AT&T.

Great Screen great features unlocked for any carrier. Great investment for a small price.
