Great camera, excellently battery life, water resistant to a degree, great sensors, finger print sensor, operates on the 7.1 nougat but appears after the update to be running superb.

I really enjoy my new phone, I'm able to download everything I want the camera is better, the last one I had only had 14 gig, it wasn't enough to download too much so, I'm happy to have this phone.

Very nice phone for the money. Be sure to get it on sale. Because phone prices are much higher than even recently. Shop around and be sure to get an unlocked phone only.

My wife and I had our original Moto X phones for about 4 or 5 years and decided to update them a little. We don't need to be on the cutting edge of technology with our phones like our kids do, so we decided to stay 'in family' and upgraded to the Moto X4. I like the form factor and screen size and it's pretty snappy for most of the things we use our phones for. It also has pretty good battery life. I charge it every night but I could get through a couple of days easily before I would NEED to charge it. It's not as glossy as my Galaxy S8 (work phone) but it gets the job done. I only take one star off because of the camera. Not bad, but it could be better. All in all, a good phone for someone who might not be a mobile power user.

Motorola Has Made Comfortable, Powerful Affordable Midrange Phones For Years. This One Blurs The Line. And Carrier Unlocked Android One Updates From Google Directly. This Device Was Designed To Be Cutting Edge.

Overall I am very happy with this phone. Call quality is good and the speakers are decent. My only issue is not so much with the phone, but the fact that the mobile hotspot with cricket wireless that I used to have access to is not accessible on this phone. Apparently cricket wireless isn't totally compatible with this phone when it comes to the personal mobile hotspot. Having kids that are always asking me to turn it on when we're on the go, that's kind of a deal-breaker for me so I'm now shopping for another carrier. I'm not giving up this phone. My only advice is get a case - this phone is VERY slippery.

I purchased this cell phone and so far I am impressed, a great phone for the money! The camera is awesome, lots of little tweaks that make it easier to use. Fast charger, long battery life. I like it.

For $150 unlocked with no contract you cannot beat this deal. I use Republic Wireless for super cheap service and this phone rocks. Great camera and performance just shy of the high end 600-800 plus dollar models. Be realistic people, buy a cheap phone with cheap service to go along with it and then go spend your money enjoying life instead of material things. Guarantee this phone does anything any other phone does without having payments lol!

I did extensive research on new phones after I killed my old Nexus 6. I intended always to stick with Google, but the Pixels are much too expensive. Discovered the Android One system by accident, looked for an affordable example, and hit the X4 just as its price was coming down sharply. Went to Best Buy and found it cost even less than I expected. So, even though it's a small step back from my beloved Nexus 6 in some ways, it's a good step ahead in many others, at a third the price. And I even still have the great Google software environment, which other sellers corrupt with garbageware and neglect of updates. I feel very lucky!

I was looking for an Android phone with an earphone jack and a microHD slot, so I gave this one a try. It surprised me by being a little peppier than the old Nexus 5x that it replaced. I was further surprised that its built-in FM Radio app played in stereo, unlike the mono-only NextRadio app I'd used before. After using this Moto for a month, I'm happier than ever with my purchase, especially since it cost less than $200.

    Good midrange phone

The Snapdragon 630 SoC, 3GB of ram and Motorola's enhancements create a good midrange phone. The phone performance is fluid and it's design language as well as build quality is above average for a midrange offering. It also has the flexibility of supporting any carrier in the U.S. Disadvantages include; It's screen is slightly smaller at 5.2, and I'm not a fan of the glass back which makes the phone slippery and prone to damage.

Phone is glass front and back which makes it very slippery. For me the volume is not very loud. It used 12 gb storage right out of the box and you cannot move apps to the sd card. Even though it has 32 gb storage only photos and files can be moved to sd card. Performance is ok. The phone updated to pie right away. The front camera has wide angle which takes nice pictures although a little slow. I bought the phone because of the ability to use it on any carrier and the promise of monthly security patch updates.

This was my first adventure away from the restricted world of Apple. I grabbed it on sale as an unlocked phone an figured it was the safest way of trying Android. I'm happy to say, after a full week with my Motorcycle X4, my iPhone is in my dresser drawer. The 9.0 Android is feels good and intuitive. The battery life is great. I can go 2 days with normal use where my iPhone was lucky to make it a full day. (Really just about 18 or so hrs). The only downside is that a couple of my larger apps take a little longer to load but some (like my weather app) open quicker. Very nice for the price.

Went from a 4+ yr old LG which didn't have enough storage for Apps but was functional. Got the MotoX4 because it is not too large, waterproof, enough memory and takes a SD card. Also NFC so it can link with my Canon camera to transfer pictures. Very slippery with the glass casing so get a sleeve. Only had it 3 days so there is a learning curve but I like it so far. Good price at Best Buy at $200 off unactivated. Verizon put in the SIM card for free and set up the data transfer from the old phone. Lynne was very helpful at Verizon.

This phone works well and is responsive for a mid-level option Motorola. Camera is good but not great. Also this phone is very smart with suggestive ways to improve itself. My main reason for only four stars is for some reason they put the mute button right by my cheekbone so every time I go on the phone I accidentally mute the conversation. This is kind of redundant and gets old but besides that I really like the phone and for the price it was on sale for excellent.
