Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the Moto X (4th Generation)'s reasonable price, impressive camera features, and long battery life as positive aspects. While some users find the phone to be slippery and fragile, the lack of wireless charging is also seen as a drawback.

Motorola Moto X(4 Gen.) Great Smartphone

I have been wanting a new smartphone for around a year and half. I've done my homework, research on which smartphone that will suit me keeping in mind price and features played a great part into it. I like the fact their's added extra security with the fingerprint scan making it much more difficult and harder to steal. Great features, screen size is ample to watch videos or view pictures etc... If you looking for a high quality smartphone without paying 800-1,000 dollars (+) take a look at the Moto line.

I'm using Tracfone, and I got slightly tired of using their cheap LG handsets, with limitations in Android version I could get, speed and memory available - so I decided to "invest" a reasonable amount of money into an unlocked phone, that I could use as a "bring your own device" handset. After some research, I chose this Moto X4, and this is exactly what I needed. Good screen, pretty amazing features for the price, and higher level feel.

Almost everything about this phone is nice! The wifi is strong, bluetooth, all the essentials. The wide-focus camera is also great even if a bit distorted around the edges (produces a "gopro" effect, kind of like a fisheye lens). The phone experiences few slowdowns, which is expected for a 1-2 yr old phone. Overall the phone is amazing for an entry-level scenario, but if your expecting best in class, go with a samsung or a oneplus phone.

If you can get this phone for $150 or less it's almost a no brainer. Android One, carrier unlocked, premium build, 3GB RAM, USB C, headphone jack. This phone will more than exceed the needs of 99% of people. There is no need to pay more than $300 for a phone, specially when you can get the Moto X4 for $150 or less.

Got this phone on sale and with a BB gift card. I needed a phone to use for travel in Europe and grad school while in the UK for a year (existing iPhone to be used exclusively for US based business). Shifting from using an iPhone to android has been pretty easy, but haven’t used it long enough to be able to list the pros and cons. But the battery life has been amazing.

Motorola x line, g line, and new "one" line are all great mid tier phones. All work way better than expected. We have or have had all of them and have no complaints given the price point. Yes they don't have the newest and best cpu or most ram or wrapped in glass. But, they are light weight, work good enough for most people. The software is light on resources and battery life is excellent.

This phone is amazing fast, just have to be patient with the updates and security updates. Would def recommend using high speed internet and not use up all your data on the updates. Other than that it is amazing. If you can afford 64GB model do it. I am a light user for this phone so not many apps. All in all happy with purchase and its unlocked so it was so easy to pop in my straight talk sim card and not set anything up!

I haven't had Android in a while but wanted to go back and give it a try. This phone is good. It's not gonna be the fastest phone you've used. But for the price you really can't beat it. I'm done with financing phones and going to buy them flat out. And will probably stick with Motorola.

I made the right decision in purchasing Moto X4. I did my research on all the other smartphones I will tell you I didn't want to spend $800-$1000 for high quality smartphone. When I looked at the tech specs for Moto I was amazed at the features, dual cameras and operating system (Android Pie 9.0). If you want high quality smartphone without the high price I recommend Motorola Moto X4.
