Customers frequently mention the Moto X (4th Generation)'s reasonable price, impressive camera features, and long battery life as positive aspects. While some users find the phone to be slippery and fragile, the lack of wireless charging is also seen as a drawback.

After breaking the third phone in about three months I was short on funds especially when it comes to a phone. Especially one that's going to get broken. so I gave this one a try cuz it was cheap and it still had some of the features I was looking for. I'm actually really impressed with it. I wish I would have gone one up with one more g of ram and twice as much storage but beggars can't be choosers. if you don't have much money and you need a phone give it a try. it's a quality product. remember the razor? I don't know how many times I dropped that phone and it didn't break. it's an unlocked GSM phone so it works with anything that is gsm T-Mobile metro AT& t.

i bought this phone as an inexpensive replacement to my previous essential phone (PH-1), and it uses the same native android build my previous phone had. my only complaint at this point is that the on-board memory is only 32GB, which i've easily tapped out. this has caused (i'm assuming) some issues with occasionally locking up the phone or making in run extremely laggy. it does allow for expansion via a microSD slot; however, i've not yet figured out how i can move some of my apps onto the external storage in order to free up some of the main memory, but hopefully i can very soon in hopes that will fix the issues i've been experiencing.

Hi Jeretal,
We appreciate your feedback and we understand how inconvenient this is for you. There are apps that you may move from your internal storage to SD Card. You may check it on the apps and notifications under settings. Just click the app and then look for Move to SD Card.

Just a decent phone for the price! A 600 series octocore snapdragon with Android one being cleared out is going to get enough updates to keep it going well for years with more money in the wallet.

Bought this phone for my daughter. She is very happy with the phone. No bloatwares since it is the stock android. The apps are launching smooth. Very good battery life. Overall a good buy.

This is a great phone that is priced right and is not over-sized. It is available with 32GB or 64GB, but the 32GB seems to be enough for my needs, and I store my photos on an SD card that I added. The SD card seems to allow mostly data, photos, etc. but not many apps. I'm very happy with the phone, but be aware that it is slippery, so plan to buy a case for better gripping and protection.

Got a great deal on the phone for my kid. Easy to setup parent controls thru google and phone works great. Really nice camera too. Only wish internal storage was larger because operating system uses a big chunk of it.

While this phone doesn't have the premium specs of higher end phones, it feels responsive under most circumstances. The build quality is solid, too. I haven't had any hardware issues so far.
This phone runs Android One, a version of Android that is as close to the vanilla Android experience as possible, save for a few Moto-exclusive features. The monthly security patches I've gotten have rolled out a bit later than I'd like, but Motorola is not the worst offender in this field.
The presence of a MicroSD slot and headphone jack are welcome when many higher end phones have been dropping them. The lack of a notch or a borderless screen is also a plus.
This phone is a solid budget phone, without being as low-end as many of the cheaper pre-paid phones on the market.

Was looking for a phone to buy for my son's. This phone provides them with the needs they have and more. Did not have to break the bank on buying higher end phone like apple or Samsung. So far so good.

Seems fine. I'm not a big phone user so this will be ok for me. Got it on sale for 130 with a free prepaid card/ sim kit however the sim that came with the kit didn't work with my T Mobile plan.

Needed a new unlocked phone to replace an aging Alcatel unlocked phone previously purchased from Best Buy. I'd previously owned other Motorola phones and all seem to be good devices. Happy with this phone too.

The sizing is very nice - not too big and not too small. It's still getting android updates - mine is running the pie version currently. The camera works well, but the portrait mode doesn't adjust properly. I have to switch to manual mode to capture the best views. The batter lasts me about 2 days at moderate usage. Greater usage obviously depletes it quicker. I came here from a 4,000 mAh phone, so I'm still adjusting to the faster drain.
The mic & audio works well. The processor works fast enough. This isn't an upper tier phone, but for mid-range, it's decent. I still think it should've been priced much lower now that it's several years old though.

This is Android One phone, so it was updated to Android Pie once turned on. My flagship phone still has not been updated! Still on Oreo. Great for back up phone or even a main phone. Nice screen and internals. Works with no issues on T Mobile. Just put in SIM and good to go. WiFi calling works also. So far no network issues, connects to LTE, no problems with service or data.

This is a great mid-range phone, especially if you can get it on sale. Battery life is very good. It updates to the latest Android (9) so it will be current for a while. Has all the features I need. Great buy

Not big on spend a ton of money on phones so this is good for the price. Get a table if you want to do more, but save money if all you need is to make calls and check emails.

The phones wonderful, works great for a $50 dollar phone and allows me separation between a development device and a personal device, so for that it works great. the reason i docked two stars is that they set up the sprint service wrong. they listed my device as a IPhone 5c and sprint could not change it so i could have service as they already transferred the number. it seemed rushed, although I'm extremely tech savvy and wasn't hard set on having sprint, but I could imagined this to be frustration for lesser savvy people.
