After 3 and 1/2 + years of use of a Moto X 2nd generation that I did end up putting a battery in the last few months of use I decided to get the X4 because the second generation was balls to the walls and this is much better. Glad I did with the Android One it is just fabulous.

Very pleased with this. Immediately get a case and a screen protector- the glossy finish is slippery, and i was scared of breaking it for the first 3 days of having it. Camera isn't spectacular but it is really good that it has 2 camera lens inside it. One for close quarters, one for long field quarters. Performance is great, most games are flawless on this phone. Compatibility is high. Don't buy if: - You want to cast display to Roku - You want to change font - You use Samsung preinstalled features - You like built-in audio settings - You need a long battery. The phone is aesthetically pleasing, the screen looks good, and it was great for the value of just 200 dollars.

I bought this to have a rootable phone to replace a Samsung S7. It is every bit as good as the S7 and it is rootable. The only thing missing is wireless charging but I bought a wireless charging adapter for $10 and keep the phone in a back case so it is not an issue.

This is my first Android phone. I bought it recently, and it has been working great so far. No major issues. Battery life is fantastic - I don't even have to charge the phone every day.

I purchased this phone as my first smartphone. I am sure that there are other phones available from Samsung, LG, Apple and others that might have better performance hardware included. But for the purchase price of $199, this one is hard to beat. Yes the wide angle camera distorts the images at the edges. I have not noticed a slowness in the camera (any mode) that others have remarked on. The original OS was Android 7.0, and after a day of a series of updates, the OS is stable at Android 9.0, July 2019 patch. I also purchased a SanDisk microSD card at BestBuy for 69.99, and that was instantly recognized. Curiously, after making the above purchases, the prices at BestBuy have taken a large jump up. I have cellular service at T-Mobile, and have exceptional voice call quality (both ends of the conversation) and have not had a call dropped yet.

I traded my Moto G5 Plus in for this phone and from day 1 I was sooo glad. I'd never thought I woud ever say that, but I did and I mean it!! If you don't care about timely Android updates, then this phone isn't for you because it is updated monthly. Samsung and iPhones are grossly overpriced. I will put this against ANY of them for what it was made for.... PURE ANDROID!!!

No issues to report as this time. I've only had the phone about a month. We did our research before buying. I wanted an Android with a decent amount of memory and this met my needs.

I do wish it had smaller bezels on the top and bottom or the bottom button acted as a home button but for $150 you can't beat it.

Went from a 32 gig to this 64 gig memory. Works great. Still getting used to it. Went Straight Talk, fit fine with the service. Is slippery but bough a case, easier to hold.

I chose the Moto 4 because of the reviews of it vs. the 5th through G7 and decided to go with it. Glad I did as it is everything it was said to be. Im on Tmobile network and bought this phone unlocked and was easy to switch my old phones sim card from ZTE , just logged into my google account and it uploaded all my contacts and let the phone do several updates last being Android9. I just uploaded each of my apps one by one after that from the play store. If you do all them at once the phone screen timeout will only last 9 seconds and you cannot fix that bug without resetting phone and starting over.

The phone is very nice, especially when on sale. It has a very good feature set since it is a part of the Android One line of phones so it is close to stock Android and does not need modifications to get the experience.

Very decent product, easy to use. The only aspect I wish to improve is the backside is a little slippery. While it may look nice with high polished surface, it slided into sink a couple of times when I placed nearby.

This Motorola part number (PA8S0019US) is actually the USA version also known as XT1900-1. It worked perfectly in Argentina with operator Movistar on LTE as it has bands 4 and 17. It came with Android 8.x and had to perform several Android updates until getting the latest Android 9 (as of Jan-2019). Phone works great so far, I'm not writting a phone review as there are tons of it everywhere but just wanted to let Argentina clients know it works in our country.

The phone arrived within 2-3 days. It was priced well below what you could buy online at any other store. Excellent purchase. It made me think about using Best Buy online more often.
