Nice and fast mid-range phone with a lot of versatility.

Great phone over all, just doesn’t support a 128gb micro sd, will restart every 5 minutes with it in. Camera is great although I expected more from it.

nice phone battery drains a little too fast though.

First, the fingerprint scanner is hard to use and not accurate. Second, the camera has difficulty autofocusing on objects such as paper forms.

spent $399 on Moto Z4. The salesperson sells me the 2year extra protection from damage during normal usages for another $150. I had a headphone that broke off in my phone. It caused the display to not work. Geek Squad says they can fix it for $125. They sell you on "damage through normal usage" protection but then want to charge you if you actually need their protection. With the $150+$125 that is 69% of the total cost of the phone. Don't waste your money on their useless warranties. I wasn't trying to damage my phone through abuse. I accually brought a $50 case to protect it.

I have been unimpressed by the market lately. Almost got impressed by the hype of pure Android Essential Phone but was left severely disappointed. The Samsung Phones feel cheap to me unless it's a Note then they cost more than a used Honda Civic. Pixel is also too high. Then I saw the Z4 specs and that it was going to be released on June 6th at Bestbuy. I bought it online and picked it up the 6th in store. The screen is awesome! Bright and crisp. The WiFi is fast and picks up great. The battery life is awesome and this is day 2 on the first charge. The fingerprint sensor is fast and has not messed up at all yet. I can multi-task and the phone is smooth as silk. Fast and responsive. I am a power user and this phone is faster than the Essential PH1, The Galaxy S8 and the Pixel XL. The price was 499. PUBG plays in High Graphics mode without a single issue. I swear the only things I am missing that I would like are wireless charging and water proofing. The charger is turbo 17 watt I believe and is supposed to be fast so we will see. I haven't needed to charge it yet. Bluetooth works great and is fast. I have used my Skull any Crusher headphones, Bluetooth out door speaker and transferred pictures from my brick of an Essential over to this via Bluetooth. It came with the 360 degree camera mod which works great and takes awesome pictures. This phone is compatible with any network both GSM and CDMA. I am using it on CDMA right now. In phone camera is as good as my Samsung's have been. The 2ghz Octacore, 4gb RAM, 6.4 inch screen and future 5G ability made me really excited about this phone as compared with the selection of alternatives in this price range.

HAVING ALOT OF ISSUES WITH ANSWERING PHONE CALLS. KEEP HITTING ANSWER AND THE PHONE DOES NOT RESPOND. I HAVE MISSED MANY IMPORTANT PHONE CALLS. AND TO TRY TO FIND A CONTACT NUMBER FOR MOTOROLA WHERE YOU CAN ACTUALLY SPEAK TO A PERSON IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE.

I trade my Moto g5s-plus ,64gb for the Moto z4 .,128gb.,..my Moto g5s-plus was faster then my new phone.
