Yes, the battery is smaller but I can still easily get a full days use. Other than the battery, this phone is an improvement on all levels. Was hoping for a vast improvement on camera, but it's still lacking for low-light photos. This is pretty much as close as you can get to vanilla Android unless you go with the Pixel line - which might be next purchase when the time comes. All-in-all a great phone!
