Coming from a samsun previous phone the power button on the left side and the thumbprint on the right was wierd. Overall the moto stock wasnt too bad. However for the price and quality was not bad at all.

The default "vibrant" color mode is just too saturated. But the "standard" mode is somewhat washed out looking. I wish there were an option for something that was in between. Can't hardly believe I'm complaining about the color reproduction, but despite the decent value it makes me regret this purchase. But maybe it won't bother everyone. Fwiw... My previous phone was a Moto G5s Plus set to "vibrant" and it looks so much better to me---natural enough, but also with just enough vividness to make icon colors pop without going overboard. The Z, unfortunately, looks pretty bad to me. Another complaint is that the ringtones appear to be ascending in volume. So it's hard to hear the initial ring. Can't disable. The screen unlock button on the side is super responsive. I like it. I've got it set to where it unlocks just by grabbing the phone as I naturally tend to do when pulling it out of my pocket. It unlocks so fast I often don't have to think about it. Though, I'm sure with such ease I'll accidentally unlock my phone when putting it back into my pocket once in a while. Phone came with Oreo, but it eventually got Pie after a days worth of updating. I think Moto's implementation of pill gestures after the Pie update are better than Google's own Pie pill gestures. It's an OK phone. Decent price.

Excellent phone especially when you use the mods. Snap on the 5g mod for lightning fast speeds. The z3 is better than the z3 play but if you can get this phone for a good price it's great.

Has excellent features. value for money. Battery life is a little less though. But other than that can match up to any of the expensive phones.

Moto Z3 play was recommended by Best Buy salesman when I shopping in their store. Good price and good functions for my normal communication needs.

This phone was totally amazing. It has mods that add battery of time. It has mods that have photo features in 3D. And it also has available many other mods like a projector

Usually buys phone from Verizon website and my friend recommend to buy from Bestbuy. I didn't have any problem activate from Verizon and I save some money too.

Motorola has done a great job with this phone for the price. The camera is not amazing, but it gets the job done.

This was an amazing buy for $150. My son loves it. With the mods it makes this phone fun and very unique. My son is actually happy he didn’t get a iPhone

Loved the camera and pics.. Decent screen size and resolution. Different moto mods can be put on. USB C charging. Love it on this price range.

Our 3rd z3 play. Broke mine , upgraded to Moto Z4. Wife and daughter both now have z3 plays from Motorola. Thus , we Are a Moto Z home. . With the price now down to 150$ here recently you can't go Wrong with the z3 play. Ya just can't. A good case and screen protector with the phone price.....? Taxes and dock fee..out the door , Less than 180$. Samsung and Apple who ?

I bought this phone for my son. He really likes it and for an unlocked phone, the price was great! Was on sale $200 off regular price.

This worked on Verizon wireless network which was a must for me. I just switched the SIM card and it worked. Price was great at $149.99

This is a great phone for the price and I was sad when I broke it. However I got another Motorola because of this phone.

It will be perfect if it has a headphone jack. Other than this, I am very happy with the phone.
