This is the best modem I have ever purchased. The setup was very easy. I have so many thing’s running off of it and it runs to fast. Thanks for making this great modem!!

Extremely simple setup, and powerful enough to maintain a strong signal throughout the house. (2,000 sq ft) as well as front and back yard.

The Motorola MT 7711 is a great all-in-one internet router, modem and voice (phone) combo unit. It was easy to set up especially since I took my rented device to Comcast immediately after purchasing the Motorola from Best Buy. Comcast registered and activated my new Motorola in their system and all I had to do was plug it in when I got home. The Moto has both 2,4 and 5G band widths and takes very little time to boot up. I love the bright, clear lights on the front that display the different functions like power, WIFI, phone, etc. It also has an on/off switch in the back which is a great feature plus it doesn't run as hot as all the other units I've had. I am very pleased with my purchase. Like many, I was tired of renting a device from my cable company for mostly substandard units and spent too much time exchanging routers.

I rented my modem-router for years from Comcast. I had the latest model, and pay for boost internet. 500 mbs. I recently purchased 2 blink outdoor cameras. I could not receive a strong enough signal to operate the front camera. I was limited on which modems I could buy because we also have a Comcast landline. Since I hooked up this modem I have had no issues. In fact, with the Comcast modem, if listening to music on my phone outside I would lose the signal 10 ft from the house. I tested the range of this modem. I could go across the street, and down 1 house before losing the signal. I have had this for approximately 3 months with no problems.

I had purchased this to replace an older ARRIS TG862G/CT and Apple AirPort configuration we had previously had. We were having intermittent delays on a number of devices and an overall poor performance for what we should have been experiencing with cable internet. Given that we are currently (as of this writing) in a shelter in place order, the poor performance was exacerbated by the eight family members we have in our household. Setup was super easy. I'm certainly not a novice using networking hardware, but I wouldn't call myself an expert either. The only issue I had was that we also have Xfinity Voice service and that service required a call to Xfinity customer service — about a 2 hour call in all. Lots of waiting. The solution was removing the older device and their Customer Support applying our Voice phone number to the new device. Kudos to the tech I spoke with at Xfinity. Overall, I'm very pleased so far with this device. Performance has noticeably improved and it seems to be humming along very well. I strongly recommend to any Xfinity/Comcast customers looking to replace their rental equipment or otherwise.

I bought this to replace a much older router, so that it could better handle the increase in internet speeds with my internet plan, so I could have better ping for a MOBA I got into, as well as to have better streaming and download speeds. And it really does the job, I haven't noticed lag in my matches (provided we're all on the same country server), and it does the job for downloads and streaming. I think this was a worthwhile purchase

First, "I'm sorry I haven't reviewed the Modem earlier." Believe this, just installed it today. Needed to go to xFinity/Comcast to have them update the Modem. Then, a Technician has to come out here and calibrate the modem to the Roku. Tomorrow everything should be up and running so I can watch TV, Int. and PH. MT7711 works great. Thank You Best Buy. This was easy to set up and a great first break from the cable business that was charging us $20 or more each month for "rental" of their modem. This was our first step towards cutting the cord and it worked well, so we moved to the next step.

Purchased this router to replace the modem/router that Comcast provides for a rental fee. It works just as well if not better than the previous mentioned router. Easy set-up. Fast to turn on and connect. It is nice to have a reliable product and own it rather than rent. I like the quality of Motorola products and this is no exception. I recommend Motorola products to others.
