Pretty decent, does what i need by splitting into two seperate networks for visits and personal. Recomend an extender so you can get better coverage on the 5g network if you use it. The usual situations will occur you will have times when the network will go down and it happens because you did not rent the unit from your provider, generally providers send micro updates and ping their units and it interrupts the service of any units that dont belong to them... if you dont mind this then its def worth it calculate spending the ammount now vs paying 15-20 rental for the unit from the company and its up to you im now almost 2 years since i purchased and barely had any issues.

I Newly switched to Xfinity internet and voice and purchased this rather than rent device from Xfinity. This was relatively simple install. Xfinity provides 100mbps and this modem router is comparable with Xfinity. Speed is awesome and this Motorola devise provides coverage all over my 2300 sq.ft.two story house. I have smart tv, 2 ring cameras, 2 cell phones,2 iPads, desktop all connected and absolutely no slow internet anywhere in my house. I could not be more satisfied. Highly recommend.

I just received this today. It took me about 20 min. to set up with Xfinity/Comcast through Xfinity's activation website that is used to connect new devices (xfinity.com/activate). Instructions are listed on pg. 4 of the current Motorola "Quick Start Guide" which is included in the device packaging. I have Xfinity triple play, so I was a bit apprehensive about setting up the device. I definitely did not want to lose phone and tv service during the process of setting up this router. So far everything is running smoothly. I will update this review in about 4 -6 weeks. a

This router was purchased to replace our Xfinity xfi leased router at nearly 20.00 a month. It took a few hours for everything to link up, Comcast sides of things, but the router was pretty simple to set up.. its dual bands work great, and honestly, even better than the XFI. It has a much farther range under the 2.5 band, no problem streaming from the pool or at the edge of our property in either direction. The 5.0 band is extremely fast, my son no longer complains about lag or dropped connection. All and all this router was a great purchase!

This was a perfect replacement for the generic router/modem combo xfinity made us rent each month. I paired this with a Eeros system and it is ten times faster and I have zero dead zones in my house! 10/10 would recommend. Plus now I don’t get a monthly rental charge which makes me feel like I’m sticking it to “THE MAN”! Win if you ask me.

We were tired of paying rental fees to cable company and purchased this. Everything seems faster. Would buy this again.

We have had this for a year and zero problems with it. Excellent value for money if you are staying with xfinity long term and you'll be happy to not be paying more money to xfinity every month to rent one. We will be moving soon, so we'll need to replace this one due to a different provider. So if you're not moving anywhere then its worth the money, but if you move and don't have xfinity then you will waste your purchase money and be cheaper to rent.

I recently changed my plan to the Xfinity Triple Play Plan. However after noticing my internet speed didn't change, I contacted Xfinity and they informed me that in order for the changes to occur, I needed a voice capable modem. After reviewing available options, I settled on this modem. Set up was a breeze. All I had to do plug in the modem and start it up. I went on my computer, signed in by following the instructions from the box, and my internet was ready! My internet speed went from 80 Mbps to 325 Mbps. (We are paying for 275 Mbps) Overall a very good purchase!

This Motorola Modem is really good it’s faster than Xfinity XFi rental box. Comes with a built in WIFi fast connection. I have a big family so needed a great modem. Been using it for school & gaming also for work.

I replaced the modem we had from Xfinity hoping to reduce buffering while streaming and dropped internet on our computers. Wow I was shocked how much of a difference this modem would make. No more buffering or dropped internet. I paid under $130 during a sale so I for me I did not have to get a high priced router/modem. Our landline also runs off this and we've had no trouble with calls. Highly recommend.

This is our second Motorola modem/router. The first one lasted many years and we hope to get plenty of use from this one, too.

Router was easy to set up . Fully compatible with comcast internet and voice provider. Signal strength is good through out the house .
