Some history: I got my first phone like 4ish years ago, in 11th grade. It was a "free phone" that companies give out when you add a line-- mine was some Asus brick with only 16GB of space. Then my aunt gave me her old Samsung s8, and that was a total beast of an upgrade compared to my brick. But sadly the battery life on the s8 started going bad after like two years, so that's why I ended up here with a Motorola One 5G Ace. ANYWAY... This is a very good "budget phone," as they like to say. It's not a $1,000 phone and people shouldn't scrutinize it like it is one. It has an excellent screen size, very capable cameras from what I've seen so far, and an amazing battery, which is why I bought it in the first place. Overall, if you use your phone for normal phone things like texting, calling, and browsing social media, it's literally fantastic.

I prefer Motorola phones due to their minimal Android user interface as well and the Moto “gestures” that allow easy access for the flashlight & camera functions. I have enjoyed several over the years.
The screen size on this one is plenty big for viewing any content, the cameras take very good pictures, it is very responsive and the battery life is great.
The only drawback so far is that this phone is still on Android 10. I see reports that it will be upgraded to Android 11 and then 12 but I have not seen it yet.

I upgraded from and unlocked G7 to the unlocked Moto One 5g Ace. This phone has exceeded my expectations;
1) The screen is great - extremely sharp resolution
2) Very snappy and smooth - no hiccups
3) Cameras are fine, at least multiple times better than the G7
4} Battery life is pretty good, though time will tell.
Now for Verizon - As many complained, text messaging did not work initially so I went to a Verizon store. The rep talked to a Verizon engineer who fixed the issue, but that fix disabled phone calls. Another call to the Verizon engineer fixed that as well.
This is a Verizon issue, not a phone issue, so if you purchase an unlocked phone and experience these problems, go to your local Verizon store for a fix before returning the phone.
Best Buy requires a $45 restocking fee which is a bad deal. However I needed the phone right away so I took the chance. Next time, I would order directly from Motorola.
In summary, at the $349 sale price this is a good phone. I'm very happy with my purchase.

So far no major issues after 2 weeks. Not bad for an old timer such as me.
Camera is very good especially front camera sharp. Rear camera not as good as iphone 12 but you can get excellent photos if right lighting.
Cons- bit big almost 6.8 and a bit heavy if your one handed person on the go.
Had some app freeze up but might been because of updates and yes there loads of it from google app
High volume gives to much bass feedback depending on what media you are watching (youtube, netflix)
No wifi charging.
Pros processor is above average meaning you can open games and apps fast
Ram which at 6 gb is great for those doing games or photos. For non iron horse users this is great.
Storage at 128 gb is excellent. Not too many advance users know about ram or storage however this device helps them out in that area.

Needed a new phone while we were traveling and the AT&T representative recommended this model that I could purchase at the nearby Best Buy and bring back for programing to my prepaid account. Works great with AT&T unlimited prepaid account. Fast response with great color and plenty of storage. The camera takes great pictures with easy editing.

I'm 74 years old, replacing an LG G6 I bought new and got good service from, but it was time and the LG was too expensive to repair/refurbish. I don't like Apple and I got skunked on a Samsung TV and didn't want to give them another chance. I started shopping and eventually got around to Motorola (hard not to, they make so many phones). I was closing in on a Motorola G62, international version, unlocked when I discovered this phone for virtually the same price. A 2021 model but superior to the G62 so I made the leap and I'm not sorry. At my age there are many things I don't use a phone for, gaming, watching movies (better streaming on a big screen) and I'm not much on music or social media. I have too many APPs but even more storage plus it's expandable. It has a headphone jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC, all "must haves" for me. It was idiot proof to set-up and has flexible enough settings for me to set it up just the way I wanted and it doesn't come with a lot of pre-installed junk. It's new but the battery life exceeds my expectations by a mile. It's running Android 11 and may get 12 in the future (?) but that's OK with me (the LG was Android 8, maybe 9). The camera works well enough for me, there are better (and more expensive) ones available but that's a matter of need & taste. I have no trouble seeing the screen. Works just fine with Consumer Cellular, no dropped calls and good call quality. I had a Motorola years ago, liked it and it lasted a long time and I mourned it's passing. I hope I'll be able to say the same for this one years from now (at my age it could outlast me!). If there were anything I would like on this phone that it doesn't have that would be two speakers rather than one but I honestly can't say why. I paid a little over $200.00 for this phone and have seen it recently for a little less. It's better than the LG that I paid $1,000.00 for when it was new (technology). I bought a Sahara case for it with built in screen saver ($30.00), fits perfectly, good protection. I make and receive calls, text, read news, emails & texts and use Google Wallet & Assistant. If you are looking for a solid phone, I think this fits the bill and I'm sure it's capable of doing many other things I don't do equally well. Good luck, I hope this helps.

This phone has great performance, especially for the sale price. Going in I thought it might be too big and heavy, but I got used to the weight, and as long as you have big enough pockets, you will probably appreciate the tall screen for reading articles and such. The moto actions (like chopping to turn on the flashlight, twisting to turn on the camera) are great and one of the reasons I chose motorola over other brands. I also love the fingerprint scanner. It is very quick to open and accurate.
The processor is capable, and apps are quick to open. Battery easily lasts the full day (~50-60% left at the end of the day after decent use, like lots of video).
The screen has good color and photos look pretty color accurate. It has decent brightness (though more might be nice, but you can have the brightness maxed out and hardly put a dent in the battery, so no real complaints there) and the 60 hz refresh rate is sufficient. The camera takes crisp images (I attached some photos taken with it) and is really great, especially for the price point, though it can struggle with severe changes in lighting
I would've liked to see the phone ship with a newer version of Android (though I like Android 10), but motorolas website says this phone is planned to receive an Android 12 update, and I have gotten up to date security updates for Android 10.

Ok, Pros..Large Bright Screen, Super Fast Snappy Processor, suitable for 5 spreadsheets open at once and your stock tickers in trade mode with both Teams and Outlook running in the background as fast and as good as any phone that costs a grand. Battery lasts for 2 days avg use and 3 on standby...maybe the best 5000 mili Amp skam. diagram for power consumption I have seen. 128 on board, 5g, aux jack and micro SD slot...Please Phone snobs should have their heads examined. You can game Call of Duty with no lag or Freeze for 12hrs or more on one charge.
Cons Only Ok Camera, Poor Macro, No Zoom. plastic body, no Gorilla Glass, ships with Android 10. Mono Speaker.
For $279 bucks this is the best mid range 5g phone you can buy. It doesn't need Super AMOLD or 90k refresh rates..and neither do you. This LCD delivers a hi res crisp ppi that is bright enough for most situations. The speaker is mono but loud enough to fill your board room. Also no phone can deliver true stereo because in order to do that the channels need to be further apart than any phone can place the speakers, Look it up. Try it..Add a quality case, a set of ear buds or head phones and you just saved $600 over the cost of that Galaxy.

I've had this phone for over a year, it's solid, I've had absolutely no problems with it. I'm more or less a heavy user with it. I always but gorilla glass screen protectors when I buy a new phone along with a Otter Box phone protection. I have no complaints, blue tooth with it a lot, live streaming, podcast with it, and the camera works great, I love the flash light on it as I use that now and than. I use to buy Samsung but I really like the Motorola name and build. I liked it so much I bought my wife the same one, she likes hers to.

Overall the phone is pretty darn good. The screen is bright and responsive and the resolution is superb, everything I've done so far looks great on screen. The battery seems to last for a good long time, haven't had to charge it throughout the day and charging it overnight keeps it going all day so far. The usual thin slippery size needs an auxiliary case of some kind so you don't throw it across the room if you move. storage space and app space is good so far. A lot less than half of the 128GB storage is being used by the apps I have present and the operating system which is about 13% so plenty of room for other things. There is somewhat of a learning curve between this and my old phone (also Motorola) in regard to the operating system. I can't find things and the volume control is completely different. It has a new kind of home, open app switching and stopping apps interface but I found it did let me return to the old arrow, dot and square at the bottom to control those things. Those controls are much more decisive and easier to use than the swipe here in different ways for everything. I guess I could have gotten used to the new way but why change something that has worked. This of course is my personal preference. The camera on this model seems pretty awesome, still nowhere near the quality of my DSLR but better than previous versions. 5G seems to work OK but I'm not sure yet. Sometimes it seems to lag and it shows I have the signal and a good signal but you wait for something to happen sometimes. It does have auto switching for the data track so if you're in an area with better 4G LTE then you drop to that and have good access. My building where I work has internal antennas that are LTE so I get that there because 5G isn't available yet. So far I'm not impressed by the 5G but it is in it's infancy getting to be a toddler soon so there is room to grow. If you're at a wireless network it is easy to connect and you can always use that which could be faster than even 5G at it's best. I purchased two of these phones, one for me and one for the wife. I am always a little confused as to why two of the same model phones act differently during set up and in use in some regards. They both work well just some things work differently and it's not apps but things on the phone. This is just an observation and nothing that is a detractor for use.

The $350 price is far better than the original $400. Don't buy this phone for $400 as other devices from Samsung and Oneplus would have been the better choice at those prices.
Anyway, this phone does a lot of things well. While definitely not a flagship, it still has the headphone jack, an SD card slot, a massive battery, triple cameras, and access to 5G. (Which is still kinda bad, at least with T-mobile it is, LTE speeds are much better though) And the processor is rather powerful. This phone is the upgrade the Moto G Power should have been.
However it has two big problems, it still has Android 10. When previously Motorola would always ship a phone with the latest version of Android, this came out when Android 11 was well over 6 months old. The other issue is how big this phone is. The screen alone is 6.7 inches and many belt pouches won't fit this phone. (Especially with a case) Finding a proper belt case has been difficult putting it lightly.
Those issues aside this is a great phone with a lot of practical features. Kinda disappointing about Android 10 but this is a great bare bones 5G device.

About 10 days.... SO MANY options, for halting interruptions, getting it all the way you want will be fun. But I have to say, the battery is now stronger than new. Storage is awesome. Programs run fast. Very pleased. I still need to go get the 5g sim card, I am busy and will go, eventually. (Bought UNLOCKED) Installed and moved ALL over to the phone from previous via cloud.

Phone is decent, but Motorola and their promise of 3 years of version updates is flat out untrue. This phone is stuck on Android 11 to perpetuity. If they would push updates even half as well as Google and Samsung I would give this phone a good review but because of the lack of version updates I cannot recommend this phone
