This phone replaced an Apple Iphone 6S plus. In my opinion that was the last user friendly Apple. The Motorola is a back-up to my Samsung Galaxy S-10 Plus. I've decided to call it quits on Apple because Android is simply more flexible. I wanted to try a mid range phone on Mint Mobile and so far the connectivity results are good. My Samsung phone is still on Verizon. For the price of this phone you really can't beat it. The camera is good not great. The operational speed is acceptable. The battery goes on forever. Call quality is fine. It's a bit heavier than some other phones but there is no way anything out there is $1000 better for the money.

First off, the phone itself probably deserves 4.5 stars at least. I have long been a fan of Motorola phones for the more pure android experience with less bloatwear. The specs are very good for the money and the phone performs well. The battery is phenomenal! I'm only a light user... so I could probably go close to a week between charges. On a typical day I use only 15-20% of the battery charge. It seems to charge quickly, but I have never had to charge it fully from very low yet. The build quality is very nice for the price. The camera is decent, but still exploring that... definitely much better than my Moto G7. But I don't buy a phone for a stellar camera... for that I buy, well, a camera. :-P OK... the knocks: It's bulky! The screen and phone itself are noticeably larger than my previous phone (Moto G7)... honestly, I think it might be pushing too large. The biggest thing is how thick it is... it's about 50% thicker than my Moto G7. It's also pretty heavy. These facts are no doubt due to the large battery, but it does make the phone difficult or awkward to pocket. I considered waiting for something else, but I did want to upgrade to a phone that had NFC as well as 5G capability. This phone doesn't actually have the 5G activated yet for Verizon, but supposedly it's coming. There wasn't a rush on that because we have very little 5G available where I live. The biggest knock was to ship this phone with Android 10. Android 11 has been out plenty long enough and many phones are shipped with Android 12. This seems like a poor decision on Motorola's part... but I have read that they are working on the Android 11 update for his phone... hope it comes soon and I can report back.

The Moto Ace One 5G is a budget-friendly 5G smartphone from Motorola that offers a decent set of features at an affordable price point. While it may not have all the high-end bells and whistles, it provides solid value for those looking to experience the benefits of 5G connectivity without breaking the bank. The phone is equipped with 5G capabilities, ensuring faster data speeds and smoother internet connectivity. It's powered by a capable Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which handles everyday tasks and apps with ease. With a stock Android experience, you can expect a clean and uncluttered interface. The design of the Moto Ace One 5G is functional and straightforward, with a focus on durability. It features a large display, making it ideal for media consumption and gaming, and the battery life is reasonably good, easily lasting through a day of use. The camera performance, while serviceable, may not match that of more expensive smartphones. It may not excel in low-light conditions, and the overall camera experience is more on the basic side. Overall, the Moto Ace One 5G is an excellent choice for those on a budget who want to experience the benefits of 5G connectivity. It's a reliable, no-frills device that provides a satisfying smartphone experience without a hefty price tag.

Best phone I've bought so far. Has built in "karate chop" light. Plenty of space built in. Long lasting batter. Nfc. Does Wi-Fi calling. Works on ATT or Verizon (any network). Good camera.

This is my fifth Motorola phone. I was told by my cellular company I needed to buy a new phone with 5G because my old Moto Z3 play would not work. Love that Z3 play but after checking for a while I decided on the Moto one 5G Ace. Although I do like most of the features of the phone and the battery life is excellent I have continuous problems with call quality people continuously tell me I'm breaking up and they can't hear me. I work remotely most days and using my phone is an absolute must and it's very frustrating and embarrassing to have such unreliable call quality.Call quality isn't so great, people tell me sometimes I'm breaking up or muffled so that's the main downside. Any modern phone should have zero call quality issues, it's the main purpose of a cell phone right? That is why it's 3 stars. And then started reading and see there's a fair amount of other people complaining of the same thing and I am shocked and disappointed that Motorola has not addressed this issue. I purchased this phone in November of 2022 for $200 on sale, so I thought it was a pretty good deal, so now it is too late to return it but I'm seriously thinking of emailing Motorola to get a replacement as painful as it is to set up a new phone.

We have used Motorola phones as a less expensive alternate to iphones or Galaxies. The Ace does not disappoint. Great battery life at 1-2 days. The camera is so much better than my G7. I have not found anything it can't do. The intuitive features make the phone very versatile and it asks if you want to switch modes or activate features based on usage. It took me a while to get used to not having a 'button', but I am managing and it is getting easier to use. Overall, we are very impressed! Apple or Samsung who?

It's a good moto phone. Upgraded from the moto z series and it is a major improvement. Battery gets me through the day only using around half of the charge. Camera is good, I haven't done anything fancy with it but it works well. I love the moto actions, that's why I keep buying motorola. The open box option although a little cheaper did send me the wrong brand of charger, they sent me a samsung charger which doesn't support the turbo charge but at least my old charger does.

Good price and I am very happy with the phone. Pros: + Snapdragon 750G + 6 RAM + 128 GB Storage Cons: - Decent camera I wish it had a better camera, wireless charging and up to date Android OS. It might still get an OS update though. However, at this price point I am definitely getting a lot more compared to other phone manufactures.

I have had this phone for a few weeks now and it is working good for me. Nice size screen with very good resolution. The processor is fast and it has lots of memory. Wifi connections are very good and fast. I like the battery life on this phone, I have needed to charge the batteries only about every two or three days with moderate use. And I like the camera quality and features on this phone. Glad that I got this phone to replace my old Moto.

I have had this for 1 month. Best phone I've had in a few years. Less than half the price of another major brand, I don't really miss the stylus, I've never had the battery go below 40% in one day, even with me using it a lot while working on the run. Works great with Cricket. The only thing I really miss is the Always On Display with my Note. The Motorola has an LCD screen, so it can't do "always on." but if I tap the screen, or even just bump the desk it's on, it lights up and show the time and notifications. Fantastic value.

I think Motorola makes the best quality smart phone for the money. I've also owned a Pixel, but I think this is my 4th Moto phone. The frosted silver color is really cool, and the phone is almost too big! I have a tablet, so I only use a phone for texting, calling, and paying for purchases. But this phone can do everything and the camera is really good. The battery life is extremely good. Read the specs on it! Not sure why people spend so much money for a phone when you can own a Motorola.

Seems good enough for the price. Battery life is good but I'm not on my phone all day either. I've had mostly lg and samsung devices before this one. Not super user friendly at first. It took a lot to get used to. Little slow processing speed for 128 gb phone. But still slightly better than my last. Camera is really nice.

For the price this is a nice cell phone. The battery lasts a long time. I like the gesture shortcuts for the camera and flashlight. I wish more companies would set them up like Motorola. This phone has limitations you'd expect for a $200 to $300 price tag. The camera is definitely one of them.

first new phone in years! Got it at a terrrific sale price! The things i really need are excellent battery life, good call quality anda n excellent camera. So far (two weeks in) i can hoenstly say taht i can check all those boxes. I wish i could customize what the external buttons do (my old phone i could open the camera with two clicks of the power button) but thats just a silly complaint. Everything else has been great. Phone looks nice, is super sleek. Just remember to get GSP and a solid phone case (had to check amazon).
