Excellent Flip Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this phone. The fold crease is much less noticable than my older brand foldable phone. The main screen is naturally protected by Motorola's custom screen protector (do not remove) and the fact that most of the time it will be folded, fitting nicely into any pocket. I simply love being able to read and respond to incoming text messages while the phone is in its folded position. You can also run some apps from the folded mode. I do admint, however, that I have only done this with a few apps. It is running Android 15 comes with 8GB or RAM in the 256GB storage version. It also preforms very well for video game streaming services.

It’s okay for what it does

My biggest gripe is that Motorola says 3 OS upgrades. Android 16 came out June 2025 and yet no date of when this will happen. Other than that it’s a good phone so long as you know you get what you’re paying for.

Motorola Razr 2024 is an awesome phone

Opens to full size for watching videos, pictures, etc. but closes into a square shape which fits great in a pocket or purse. Don't need to open it to full size in order to use the phone and the screen is still decent size for texting. It is a fun and functional phone.

The phone basic set up provides no owners personal privacy in default. - Battery life is surprisingly low, especially abroad, probably for Wi-Fi connection frequency difference. - SW, applications has some basic errors - e.g. no dots at Messages, Calls app. icons when some received and missed.

Getting more familiar with Android

To help improve your experience, we recommend restarting the phone, making sure the device is fully updated by going to Settings > System > Software updates, and checking for any apps that may be affecting performance. You may also try clearing the cache of the Phone app under Settings > Apps > Phone > Storage > Clear Cache. Clearing the cache will remove any temporary files being stored by the device. Clearing the data will remove data that the application has saved. For the screen blackout, ensure Adaptive Brightness is enabled and that the screen timeout settings are set to your preference under Settings > Display.
