    First flip phone, loving it!

I really like my first folding phone. I'm a smartphone nerd, coming from an S24 Ultra. I've used many kinds of smartphones from Samsung, Apple, LG, Motorola, and Google. I bought it early from Best Buy since it came with the free Clicks keyboard which I'm enjoying using. The battery life is great, as good as my S24 Ultra was when I first got it. Same with screens, both bright and vibrant. The crease doesn't bother me which I was worried about, and you don't see it when using the phone. Although, depending on where you swipe when you scroll you'll feel it quite frequently, but again it doesn't bother me. The charging is fast, the green color its a really nice deep, rich shade of green, and the Alcantara back feels nice too. The battery life and the screen are the most important parts of a smartphone for me. I don't really care about cameras, but these take pictures that look as good if not better than my S24 Ultra. The phone is also very smooth, and I haven't had any lag for stutters for the past 1-2 weeks I've had it. Overall I gotta say I'm loving it, especially using the outside screen. I didn't think I'd like scrolling through Instagram or TikTok on the small outer display, but it's big enough that it still looks good. One of the reasons I wanted to try using a flip phone was to use my phone less. I'm not sure if I'm succeeding at that yet, but I'm definitely saving more battery life by using the exterior screen more.

The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 refines the foldable experience across the board flagship level performance, stunning displays, next-gen battery longevity, AI smarts, and a premium, durable design—all wrapped in fine materials and vibrant finishes. It’s arguably the most polished flip phone available in 2025, cleverly blending style, power, and usability. I’ve never ever used the flip phone but, this Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 is one of the best flip phone in 2025. I’m so glad to own one of the amazing flip phone.

I’ve been using an iPhone since about 2007-08. I had a Motorola flip phone 20 years ago and always liked them. Check out my Pux. After lots of research I went with this new release and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! Now I’m just getting use to an Android device after using Apple products for so long. I love the new technology Motorola has in this phone…and highly recommend it. Completely satisfied!!

I was excited to try the Moto RAZR Ultra 2025, so much so, I couldn't even wait to trade in my old phone. I went into Best Buy, backed up my content, factory reset and turned over my phone. I went without a phone for 3 days waiting on delivery of the one I wanted. Then the excitement turned to a dark abyss as I was getting a replacement Ultra after a very short period of time with my new phone. A lot of problems I'm not even getting into. But I will say, don't let other people use it without knowing not to close it aggressively. All I'm saying.

Loveeeee my phone. You can access everything from the front display screen. Much easier to gain access to pictures and flash like through gestures. The size fits perfectly in a small purse. Incredible loading speed. Volume is loader that I've heard on any phone. Camera can be set to always take filtered photos.

This phone is terrific - much better than I expected. Years ago I bought Razr + 2023 and returned it. Wasn't nearly as good as my old Samsung Flips. Then I upgraded to a Samsung Flip 5 5G. But this Razr has so many improvements over my Flips. Many of my apps work faster (all of my apps work which didn't happen on my old Razr). Battery life is great, it charges quickly. The screen is sparkling. The cover screen is a huge improvement. It's expensive, but I was a skeptic - now a believer. Just wish I could find a nicer case.

I got the Motorola Razr 2023 plus model first since it was on sale, just to play with it and ended up keeping it and selling my iPhone Pro Max 16. When this model came out I got it on the release date and have been enjoying it ever since. The phone is very pretty and I get a lot of compliments on it whenever I pull it out. I don't see any compromises in quality or performance, on the contrary: it fits in your pocket much better than the mini tv sets everybody is carrying around nowadays. The crease is unnoticeable and you get a huge screen when you need to, but can also use the external one to do everything with one hand on the go. Motorola nailed it and surpassed Samsung foldable phones by far, since you can use any app on the external screen and there is no difference in brightness or crispness. The round edges and "fluid" design in general feels great in the hand, and the vegan leather back makes the phone very grippy, so you don't need a case for it. The hinge feels sturdy and is not getting loose after 6 weeks of use. As for the OS, apps and screen aesthetics in general - it is gorgeous! Tons of options to design and organize the apps and widgets. Nothing glitches and the phone is very fast. One of my favorite features is the thumb fingerprint on the right side of the phone. I use it for all apps which require a password. I never liked the face ID on the iPhone for some reason and the Samsung on screen fingerprint detector would fail every other time. What I must say is that the camera is not as good as on the flagships and hopefully, Motorola will get there on day. However, taking pictures and videos of yourself is much easier and better since you can place the phone anywhere when folded at a 90 degrees angle and you can see yourself when recording. Also, instead of a selfie camera, the main one is used which has a better & bigger capacity. The creativity and thought put in Razr is a breath of fresh air on a rather stale cell phone market and opens limitless possibilities. Well done, Motorola, and good luck!

Im honestly enjoying the phone! I'm coming back to android after a decade of apple and i don't miss it, even though i have other peripherals that made that ecosystem seamless it's been fun. I miss the times when phones were fun, and this brings back that nostalgia while maintaining some of today's premium specs. You dont need the ultra for this phone to be fun, though admittedly having the ultra provides you with the ability to take quality photos and listen to Hi-Res audio as the chipset of qualcom pushes aptx adpative/lossless and LDAC should you have earbuds that support either codec. I'd siggest taking advantage of the aptx codec as it has a higher bandwidth, though having earbuds that support codec are usually at a higher premium and the drivers arent yet matching thr LDAC competition. The system AI is the underwhelming bit, but apparently moto ai is still in it's beta phase and with the use of gemini/copilot it honestly gets forgetten. The ability to use the phone while folded at 90% capacity is outstanding. It could provably be 100% bit i dont give permisions to all apps for the external display. One of the biggest reasons for leaving iPhone was due to the keyboard and system's predictive text not being intuitive, constant mistyping, or simple just wrong. I'm so thankful that this keyboard takes away the frustration of a phone not understanding input. All in all 10/10. Maybe I have a biased viewpoint from being jaded due to my previous phone experinece, but please allow the fact that i have a macbook, ipad, airpods pro 2, and essentially bricked Ultra watch 2 shine some light on how this phone was worth the switch. That said... anyone want an apple watch? lol

The Moto Razr Ultra is a fine phone. Not amazing, not bad. Just fine. The first unit I bought head a whole bunch of dead pixels near the left side of the hinge, not exactly instilling confidence in the product on the whole. Moto thankfully only lightly skins Android, and we have a mostly stock experience here. The apps leave a little to be desired in some cases. Moto AI is awful right now, a hodge-podge of several different AI platforms that is designed to give you the best of each, but winds up a cluttered mess. You're best to just ignore the (non-remappable) AI button and use a single AI like Gemini. The outside screen is fun, and i like that Moto made some thoughtful additions like the little minigames and the fact that you can basically use any app. Some fun folding/outside screen possibilities that will likely end up going nowhere due to lack of dev support. Unfortunately once the novelty wears off we're left with a phone that for all intents and purposes is just okay. That and the display on the inside, like all other folding displays, is more fragile than thin sugar glass. So you will likely be constantly worried about touching it too much (especially if someone else grabs it, like a friend who wants to play around with it). Avoid this phone at all costs if you have longer fingernails too. You're essentially guaranteed to scratch the [out of the box screen-protected-] display. The positives just manage to outweigh the negatives, and if you're up for living on the bleeding edge then you might enjoy this product. I returned it due to the high price and constant fear that i would scratch or mess up the internal display, and also because the dead pixels on the first unit didnt instill confidence in the overall build quality.

I got this phone as a birthday present for myself, and I've been loving it ever since! The battery life is so good for a flip phone that I haven't had to worry about charging it throughout the day, and the external screen makes using the phone a breeze when it's closed. Not to mention the nice, smooth, 165hz displays on both the inside and outside. The camera also takes incredibly good photos for the hardware it's packing, although the processing could use some work. But that's not something I've been worried about since I've started using it. My only complaint with it is the durability concerns, but that's to be expected with any flip or fold style phones. All in all, I highly recommend the Razr Ultra over any currently available flip style phones!

Excellent flip phone, rounded edges on the body make it so much better in the hand than the Galaxy Flip. Unsure if this phone will outlast my Z flip at this time. $1,300 is a lot for a phone that will likely break. Get the extended warranty.
