    The features were great. But I brought it for the range, it disappointed me. The range was even close to the 30 miles , not even over 3 miles

    The text feature works well even without access to a cell tower. This is the only transceiver I have found in a GMRS or FMRS radio that has this a text message feature.

    I love these things, in urban area these dont have much range(about 1 mile), but it is fun to play around with kids, may be they will come in handy on trek or something with much larger range.

    Used mine for snowmobiling this weekend. They worked great and I loved the offline maps on the app that they connect to. These are a must for any outdoorsman.

    These are good quality, but the range is pitiful when driving. I think they start to cut out around 1/4 mile. Haven’t tried them on flat land or outside yet.

    I got these on special when I went to my local store and I've been using them out on fishing trips and have wayyy less range than my brothers and friends walkies that were less than half the price.

    I purchased these to take on a two car road trip because the range said up to 30 miles. Unfortunately the actual range was more like 1 mile or less. If you need some range don’t bother.
