Great radios Great coverage and clear sound. Good size to carry at work.

The Motorola Talkabout is a good 2 way radio to take on a cruise trip! Easy to charge, like a phone. Doesn't need a cradle, just plug directly into the radio and it will be ready next day. Signal is good and the sound is clear.

I've had these for a few weeks now. They work really well all over the property. (I have 22 acres in the mountains.) Batteries last most of the day. Signal gets a little noisy if there's a lot of metal in between. Also used while driving in pairs. Saves on using the cell phones.

Very satisfied with these walkie talkies. Easy to use and range is as advertised. Used them backstage at a busy event and they came in quite handy.

bought these to use during a storm here in FL after losing internet connectivity during Irma. I plan on using them to talk with a few neighbors who will be about 2 blocks away for status check during a storm. caught a deal of the day so bought for my storm kit!

Got these as of of the "Deal of the Day." Happy happy with the price, the look and many of the features. How I wish the range is better and at least HALF or even 1/3 of the manufacturer's claim. We tested the range by periodic talking while one of our family members was in a car being driven away from the house in the city. We totally lost the connection when the car was about 1.5 miles away. Good for the VERY local communication, but please don't rely on the factory's #s when out in the wild.

Purchased this in November of 2018. The function of the unit works as designed-no problem with setup. The range varies depending on where you are but it is adequate for my needs. I do recommend.

It supports rechargeable battery and also just 3xAA batteries. This design is awesome. I don't need to care about if it will run out of battery in a half way.

They were the first to make excellent small cell phones. Motorola has never gotten into any line of electronics and made a bad product. These radios are no exception. Motorola is the best. These radios cost a little more than other brands claiming to do the same thing. But look at the other names and I’m sure you can find some junk they make. Why waste your time buying junk only to send it back and ultimately buy what you KNEW would work?!?! Don’t go through the frustration trying to save a couple bucks. Pay the extra and get what you know will perform the 1st trip out.

I have not used the radios yet, only because they are a Christmas present but the specs are awesome and hope they work as well as promoted!!

Works great outdoors. Definitely cuts down length of signal if you are indoors. Shipping time was a little long unless you wanted to spend another $20.

Great for car rally events. Also recommend using at events where cell phone coverage is bad.
