Only mystery is it likes to switch into black and white mode even when it’s day time in a well lit room, but if you turn it off and back on it switches back to color at least half the time.

Only issue is the battery on the monitor fades quickly with use BUT this camera has held up through MANY throws from my toddler. Buy the protection plan, trust me! Video and sound quality are great, range is even better!

I use it to watch my elderly mom at night. Night vision is good enough, not for specific details though. The sound is really good. I have another version of this and the sound is staticky both ways. But this version is very crisp and clear, like I can hold a conversation with her. Which, for my purposes is good enough for me to ask if she’s ok or if she needs me. I’ve seen some people say they’d like to see if their baby is breathing, unfortunately, you won’t be able to get that detail with this. Also, you can’t move the camera

Please note that the monitor and camera work together through a radio link and such link might be affected by environmental conditions. The units can reach the range of up 1000ft when there is a clear line of sight between monitor and camera. Any obstruction between parent and baby units will reduce the range significantly. With parent and baby units indoors, the typical range is up to 165 feet. We would have loved the chance to help and reverse this experience. This is a get what you pay for video camera. The battery life while using the video is not long at all. Which we usually have it plugged in anyway. But for short periods where you need to move around the house it’s perfect. Just buy it

She has told me it is very good. The screen is a great size. Sound quality is good. My only wish is that this camera came in black.

Great for dual camera setup

Sound takes some getting used to. Sound is set to really "turn on" when the mic picks up noise. So I can hear when my kid coughs or cries, but general breathing doesn't register well.

Came with a dead battery and didn't synch as I think it should. It is for up to 4 cameras, and the only way to make it work was to synch it in the second camera slot, so at the end the camera #1 slot was useless. I returned for the dead battery issue.

I replaced it already and still. I get 30 minutes max which is not enough time at all. Overall, I recommend a baby monitor, but check reviews and look into the battery life.
