    Motorola Android Auto Connection

Motorola's connection is very nice. I've set it up for two phones. Android Auto starts up without having to be connected to USB. So you don't have to charge your phone if you don't want to. There's a minor bug which I reported to Motorola. It occurs when making a phone call and you need to pick a number to direct call. Phone call can't be handled. Other than that, I love the way it connects and allows for use of Android Auto. I keep it covered so sun doesn't destroy it. Summer will be the big test. I also purchased it when it was on sale. Much better deal.

Motorola MA1 is a must have for Android Auto!

I seldom right reviews but in the case of the Motorola MA1, I'm happy to do so. I was a bit anxious about this one because I had waited since it was released back in Jan, and I was hoping that it would live up to my expectations. I'm happy to report that it does. When setting it up you have to keep in mind that you cannot be connected to any other Bluetooth device. You have to make sure your phone has connected to the cars Bluetooth previously, you will then pair to the MA1 via Bluetooth. Plug your phone via USB to the vehicle, once the Android auto launches, you will unplug your phone and plug the ma1 to the usb. That should complete the pairing process. This is the only time you'll ever have to do that. After that it will connect each time. Takes maybe 30 seconds to do but by the time you're sitting in your car and fastening your seatbelt it's ready to go. Some people prefer to have a longer cable to it I think the cable is fine. I was able to use a double-sided sticky to mount it right under the USB. I am so happy I was able to get this, I kept checking and checking once I found out that Best Buy had it and finally the day before it wasn't in stock I checked on Tuesday in the morning and it was there and I ordered it right away. Definitely worth every single penny. What's nice about it is that you can use a fast charger in your vehicle and charge your phone if you need to, or just be completely detangled from any of that. Either way it's great it works it's definitely as advertised.

Best Wireless Car Adapter for Android Auto

Motorola definitely got this wireless car adapter android auto perfect. It was easy as 1,2,3 to set up. All I had to do was plug the device into my USB port in the car and it automaticlly synced to the Android Auto App on my Galaxy S21 FE and paired with my Bluetooth. My Spotify playlist started playing and Google Maps popped up. I was also able to play Pandora playlist. The wireless adapter even keeps playing music wirelessly once I turn vehicle off. Motorola wireless car adapter syncs up as soon as I start the car. I had been using Android Auto wired connection in my 2020 Nissan Sentra for the past two years and Motorola wireless car adapter is a breath of fresh air. Now I can use my Samsung S21 FE freely and also charge it with the available USB C-Port charger next to the USB port that connects Motorola Wireless Android Auto. The best of both worlds along with a great price.

Works well with my 2020 4Runner

Works well with my 2020 4Runner, which has Android Auto, but only works when a device is plugged in. Setup was fairly simple, though I had an issue where my Google Pixel 7P would drop the setup connection because there was no internet. Once I solved that issue I was up and running in about 5 minutes. Every time I start the vehicle, my phone connects in about 10 to 15 seconds or so. Now I can put my phone out of the way and use my Google Maps or Waze instead of the not-so-great built in nav. Music also plays decent, but sometimes drops out and has to be manually restarted after a phone call.

Absolute game changer. Initially purchased to make my 2020 Tiguan wireless and it works flawlessly. I later found out that it also works with the Sony head unit (XAV-AX3000) in my other vehicle, I was not expecting that! Incredibly easy to swap between vehicles too. Highly recommend this product!

This adapter was very easy to set up in my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I have not noticed any difference between directly plugging my phone in and using this wireless adapter which is great as I was worried about potential lag/delay. Additionally, the adapter comes with a small sticky pad which holds it back against the console and keeps it out of the way. I am very happy with this purchase.

Revolutionize Your Driving Experience Android Auto

I recently purchased the Motorola Wireless Car Adapter for Android Auto and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The device connects seamlessly to my Pixel 6 Pro and setup was a breeze. I did have to go into the Android Auto settings and turn off the "Start Music Automatically" toggle switch to prevent Spotify from playing during startup, but that was a minor inconvenience. Overall, I highly recommend this device to anyone looking to upgrade their car's Android Auto capabilities from USB to wireless. It truly transforms the driving experience.

No more tether for my phone! So happy

Easy setup, great audio quality. So glad to get rid of the wired connection. I keep a medium sized power bank for situations where my battery needs charged, but even that is far better than being tethered to the dash. Using currently on my 2019 Ram 1500. Only areas for improvement I could ask for: Better troubleshooting resources. I can fix those very few connectivity issues that arise, my wife cannot..

This Car Adapter has been a total game-changer, especially for my DoorDash gigs. Android Auto seamlessly displays on my car screen, making navigation a breeze for deliveries. With constantly getting in and out of my car to pickup and drop off deliveries, this makes it so I'm not having to mess with the cable each time. Had a bit of a tango trying to set it up, but after that it was smooth sailing. Upgrade your drive and delivery game with the Motorola MA1!

    NO MORE WIRED ANDROID AUTO

I've had it for about a week now. Works very well. My Tacoma did not have wireless Android Auto, and this was the fix. I would go so far as to say the latency is better now than when wired. The ONLY negative thing I have to report is if you get too close to a cell tower, it drops out from some sort of interference. It connects immediately when you get far enough way. It's not a big enough issue to give less than 5-Stars. Otherwise, it's awesome and well worth the investment.

This works great on my stock head unit in a 2019 Nissan Rogue SV. The biggest complaints I have are: 1) The non-removeable tail - There's not much wiggle room with it, and if it gets damaged you can't replace it or swap it for a USB-C end 2) The sticky mounting pad that comes with it is basically worthless. It would not stay attached to the under side of my console and once again with the tail being short, I had no other option that to use a piece of double sided velcro to keep it in place. 3) At one point after wiping my phone I had a fair amount of difficulty getting the device to connect again. I had to factory reset the device, wipe my Android Auto cache, clear the device from my bluetooth settings/wifi, and wipe the device from my car's connection settings.

This thing works great in my truck. The biggest complaint I have is that after I turn my truck off, I get a notification saying 'Looking for Android Auto.' This is causing my phone's battery to drain faster. It's searching for something that is turned off. If this can be resolved it's a 5 star rating.

This really does provide wireless Android Auto but it does it via small wifi AP that it broadcasts exclusively to your paired phone. This means that if you usually connect to a wireless AP in your car, that wont work on your phone, and instead you'll be deferred to your cell network data instead.

This device is the best just to be wireless. There is a little delay for it to start. It is not immediate. As soon as it connects it is set and good to go. I keep it connected and everytime I turn on my vehicle it is good to go. No issues on my end.

Surprised first by how well it works. Easy to set up, and connects effortlessly each time. MORE surprised that the Best Buy website said my local store said I had 1 in stock, and I was actually able to walk in and find it on the shelf in less than 5 minutes.
