Works perfectly in my car. After the initial setup, I have not touched it since, true set it and forget it. Connects to my phone by the time I am ready to back out of the driveway. Sound is good over bluetooth, a negligible difference versus the wired connection. For me, no noticeable lag when navigating the AA interface and connectivity has been solid. Two thumbs up.

The adapter is easy to set up. It connects fairly fast. Performance wise it works very well, no difference with USB. It did lose connection a couple of times when I left NY.

Wow, after all the frustration of working with a cable connection for Android Auto, this device is like pennies from heaven! I have an Acura 2019 RDX and using Android auto has always been an adventure with the cable connection. This wireless dongle is fantastic and so glad I tried it. It is nearly flawless in coming up all the time. Sometimes it takes up to 20 seconds or so to load but is very reliable on startup. It is a rare occasion when it doesn’t, usually if I start the car and take off fast it may not connect, but usually because I didn’t put the phone close enough to the dongle. With my cabled connection I would not connect around 30% of the time. So I can’t be happier, just wish I would had got this device sooner!!

It works just fine in my 2017 Chevy volt with Chevy MyLink Android Auto.
It takes less than 30 seconds to connect when first getting into the car.
There was absolutely no difference in the user experience on my touch screen and I experienced zero lag or any type of noticeable difference in the display quality. However this could be different depending on the enhanced capabilities of your Android auto enabled head unit and/or the quality of your screen.
The only negative I had in terms of its functionality is that if you share a car with somebody. You will have to essentially re-establish your Bluetooth connection with the Motorola adapter after someone else has connected to the head unit after you, It doesn't matter if they use the Android auto to connect or just the regular head unit via Bluetooth.... Again this could be a limitation on my particular head unit for my car, and not something I would consider a nuisance.
I do feel that Motorola could at some point offer this in greater quantities and at a cheaper price. The price point is a little high

It works well - until it doesn't. It stopped working after about 2 years. I blame the hot heat in the car. Even though it malfunctioned on me, it still worked for a time period I would've expected for a product that is left in the car subject to extreme heat and cold. By far the most seamless experience I have had with this type of product.

Works flawlessly! Just took it out of the package, connected it to Bluetooth and away I went! Love it! The only gripe would be that for my truck, the dongle isn't long enough to secure it to any part of the truck so it just sort of hangs out there but operates just fine!

Works exactly as advertised, has honestly been a lifesaver in regards to syncing my android auto with my pixel in my Suburu Crosstrek, after the initial setup I haven't had too much trouble with it, save for one day where the battery was low on my phone, the phone was in the sun and got hot and somehow the android auto thought I wanted to listen to 'Lil Wayne over and over, but it still stayed synced, so I guess that was a win.
Guess it was abit cheaper, it was 90+ bucks, but it's worth it in the long run.

Wireless Android Auto Adaptor

The wireless adapter for Android Auto is really a great idea. It is easy to set up and eliminates the need to connect your phone via USB cable to run Android Auto. Many of your phone apps are then available on your compatible infotainment system. You can run android auto or waze for driving assist. Once you initially set it up to your auto and your phone, it will run pretty much automatically when you get in and start your auto. Downside: your phone is not being charged while in use (not connected to USB). Not a huge negative, but be aware for those longer trips.

This works great. I really wanted wireless Android Auto, but I was not willing to pay for the option at the dealership. This plugs into an USB port and it took about a minute to setup. It automatically connects my phone to the car when i start it. The phone takes about 45 seconds to connect. Once connected, Android Auto works as if the phone was directly connected by wire. I am able to project Waze and it works perfectly. My only complaint is that you can't change the charging cord and the one that is attached is very short. I'm going to buy another one for my other car.

The adapter worked amazing for about a year and a half. After that mark, it would occasionally disconnect for about 20 seconds then reconnect in the middle of a drive. Started happening more often then just completely stopped connecting. I've had it for less than 2 years and now it connects for 15 seconds and disconnects. Tried doing reset on the device a handful of times as well as other troubleshooting and device just stays either flashing between blue and green, or just stays on a red light.
It worked PERFECT for the first year and a half though, I just wish it lasted longer than 1 year and 9 months.

Works great on my c7 corvette. Its easy to set up, connection is stable and fast. The onlything i would change about it is, I wish the usb connection was directly on the dongle without a cable in-between. If I had to guess, the cable makes it more universal over all so it can be used in more vehicle's depending where their usb ports are. So far I love it, great product!

As the title implies, there isn't much to this. Plug it in and connect to it via your phone's BT menu one time. It just works. Your car is unaware that you aren't physically plugged in and it simply connects within 10-30 seconds of your car starting.
I use this while my phone is plugged into a charger in my car so it kinda cancels out the convenience factor.
I worry that there is no ability to update firmware for future iterations of AA and car hardware, but this is a great option for not being tethered to your car's USB port.

So, weird (maybe not so weird) deal. My car (Toyota) will will handle callls/music/text via Bluetooth, but Android Auto was wired only. This was difficult to discover, as there was conflicting info about that in multiple places. In the end I verified Calls/Media Bluetooth, Android Auto wired. I looked at several adapters (less expensive) with somewhat spotty results. This is the only one that appeared to work the vast majority of the time. The setup was quick and easy, and I had Bluetooth Android Auto in short order (before I even left the BB parking lot)!
Quick Note: If your phone is already connecting to your car via Bluetooth, you may need to disable that connection to get everything to work correctly.

The adapter works great for me. Took about 3 minutes to set up. I have not noticed any delays between the phone and display. It does take somewhere between 10-20 seconds to sync to the car. It is nice now to just get in and out of the car without having to connect a cable. Nice on multiple stop trips. The price could be a little lower. I used a $5 reward certificate to get under $50.

I've tried to buy this adapter for months but it has always been out of stock. I got a recent alert and rushed to buy it. This is such a great tool. It works great with my Hyundai's Android Auto system. I notice no delayed response or degradation of audio quality. This device doesn't require a special app. It connects to your Android phone using Bluetooth and then it creates its own wireless access point and automatically connects your phone to it. There are only three flaws. 1) the device can take upwards of a minute to connect to with your phone and for the car to recognize it. This may be dependent upon a lot of factors such as your phone model, Android version, car type etc.
2) Without your phone connected using a cable, your battery discharges during use. 3) Depending on your vehicle, your USB port may remain powered after your car is turned off. This device blinks continually when no phone is connected so this could cause your car battery to drain. I just unplug it.
If you can snag one, it works great, highly recommend.

I wish I had known about this product sooner! I keep my phone in my pocket, so the charging port traps lint, and despite cleaning it out regularly, the usb cable falls out all the time disconnecting the Android Auto. I was looking into a new head unit with wireless Android Auto and stumbled across this absolute gem. So far it works flawlessly, 100% recommend!

Purchased it in July 22, it just died this week. Connects for a second disconnects connects for a second disconnect so on so forth. I guess it's fried. Will buy a new one as when it was working it was seamless, never any drops. Connected within 5 seconds of me starting my car. I have a 2023 Hyundai Elantra convenience package and running Android 14 on my Motorola razor. Going to try it again and hope it lasts at least a year. Price is worth it

I'm not sure why I didn't think about getting one of these sooner! My 2019 Chevy Silverado doesn't have wireless android auto or apply play, but this device made it possible! I keep it plugged in and it seemlessly connects on its own and within seconds. The only thing I have to do is physically press android auto on the truck's radio headunit. The sticky pad that is provided is more of a slip resistant pad than a sticky pad. I had to replace with a 3M doublesided tape, but thats fine with me. I was happy I purchased the device, not the sticky pad that's complimentary in my eyes.

I have an Alpine ILX-407 and connecting to my Galaxy S21+ was pretty straight forward. Only issue for me is the poor sound quality, phone battery usage, and interference (once in a while) due to the Wi-Fi connection between your phone and the adapter. Overall it's a great option for upgrading to wireless Android Auto
