We almost lost our 4 month old grandson to Sids. I needed a monitor that I could actually see him breathing. I had read reviews and hoped this would be the perfect one. It works perfect it has a zoom on it so I can have a close up and see him breathing at all times. It has sound so you can have it as loud or soft as you want it. It is color pictures for day and black and white for night. The picture is crystal clear, there is no noise to the unit at all. The night pictures are just like you have a light on over him but there really is no light on. You can add other cameras to this monitor for other children or adults and it has a split screen. The camera has a very long cord on it so you can plug it into the wall outlet and it will reach down inside infants bed. I have it sitting on a teddy bear in the corner of the baby bed. You can control the camera from the monitor itself. It adjusts left, right, up, down it is perfect. I would recommend this monitor to everyone. It is little prisey but it is worth it.

Love the monitor and the sharpness of the camera. Love the temp reading and the volume. Love that I can play music and talk through it. Actually my 3 year old loves that feature (he tries to talk to his baby sister through it all the time). I just wish it had a better battery life when it's not connected to the charger. I never use it when it isn't charging on the wall.

After doing a lot of research before our baby arrived, we decided we wanted a monitor that did sound AND picture because we are in a larger house and wouldn't always be able to peek in on him at every noise. Based on the images we saw online, it appeared that in any price range the image quality on the monitor display were all not great so we chose this one because it had the best overall reviews and moderately priced. We have had our little one home for 6 weeks and we have used this monitor every single day and love it! The image on the screen is much better than what I expected--we can easily tell if his eyes are open, the sound is great--I can even hear him make noise whIle I'm washing dishes, and it has awesome range of motion--in case he won't go down in the crib and we have to put him down in one of his bassinets, we don't have to move the camera to another location, just use the monitor to turn the camera further up/down or left/right. We were so pleased with it that week 2 we even ordered an add-on camera to use when he is sleeping in other rooms. You can switch between your multiple cameras to view on the monitor, it let's you pick camera 1 or camera 2 just by using up and down arrows. However, even if you only have the one camera that comes with it, it is really easy to just unplug the camera and move it around anywhere you need it! It just needs a power source nearby, and the wires are long so I haven't had any trouble with locations too far from outlets. The monitor is wireless, it just needs to be charged. Since we use our monitor so much right now because our newborn sleeps most of the day, I do have to charge it at least once a day.

Works great! And is extremely easy to use. The range is also excellent. We have one in the room upstairs with our 16 month old and one with the newborn and both work flawlessly

I am very pleased with the purchase. It's not just for babies :) My son had an onset of a medical condition and instead of going upstairs multiple times during the night I have the comfort of two way communication and volume control which is important. Night vision is clear, not fuzzy and the ability to move the camera around the room was a sweet extra. So any parent looking for a little more sleep and the occasional water run during the night for the little one-this camera is for you.

It is a good monitor but not perfect. The countdown on the screen when it is about to turn off makes it difficult to see one camera whe two are up on the view. Also I don't know if you can do a true side by side split screen rather than picture in picture view, which would be nice. But overall it has been good so far.

Well I'm gonna keep it simple we've purchased the model above this one and its was alright at first but then the internet kind of went so we brought back and research a little and since I really like Motorola I spot this one and the setup was easy and very friendly the image is really good and the sound also , so it's a great device and I'm very satisfied so far

I love this monitor!! Sound and picture is clear.. Even in night vision. I love how you can speak to the baby... It helps my baby calm down when I'm in another room and he wakes up looking for me. And a bonus was Walmart had this monitor cheaper so Best Buy price matched for me with no hesitation :)

Pros: video quality is above average, sound sensitivity is great, range is very good. Cons: Battery life is horrible, will not last long if you are frequently looking at video In short if you don't mind keeping the unit plugged in, it will work for you, otherwise battery life is a major disappointment.

I purchased this to monitor my child that will be born in April. So far it appears to have good picture quality and sound, it also has decent controls. If you use the zoom it gets very grainy.

The monitor suffered bumps and falls - still works! It is not 1080p quality but you can see how the little one moves and the sound is good, picks up the breathing if quiet. The negative is the battery, it either stopped charging or it drains out after 10 minutes, this started to happen six months later. Be prepared to take your charger everywhere.

Have only been using for about a month so cant speak to how it may operate a year out. but options are nice and works as it says. no issues.

This is really great. The night vision is great. But it could conect with a smartphone too.

Works in every way stated. Video connection strong and easily adjustable - no problems with typical usage. Cons are low battery life for monitor, makes loud beeping noise when low battery and the PIP does not split the screen evenly.

this monitor easily allows me to see everything going on in the baby's room. Glad I purchased this device.

Camera is fine. It works. But the image is pretty low quality. The viewing unit is also small. I'd recommend The Nest cam, or any of the Samsung monitors instead.
