Noise issues, can't manage heavy gear,

For starters, I'm not too happy to see that it's now $100 cheaper than when I purchased it just two weeks ago. Aside from that, here are my observations... There is a "silent mode", maybe they should rename that the "quieter" mode as it's never silent no matter what speed you operate it on. The specifications state that it can manage over 20 lbs of gear. Don't even try it, that may be a verticle load only, the pod will bend under a 12 lb load, let alone the max load. I wish it had two connection points, the one it has, and another at the end of the handle for better stabilization. You can put a counter weight on the handle end in order to limit the tilt that occurs when the camera travels. At higher speeds, this is not usable for video if your audio is at all valuable to you, and it is for me. Directional microphones are a must, and you can still hear the motor. The battery charge lasts all afternoon for me, so that's a plus. The App is lacking, I wish I could set the monopod with the app and have that setting remain. For example, I want the slider to function at the slowest speed and save that setting. It always starts fast, and you have to quickly press buttons to reset the slowest speed. The wooden handle is very nice, and has a 1/4 - 20 threaded receiver on the end. That is where I place my counterweight on a hook. Overall, the unit is lightweight and well-made. If you have the money, I would suggest seriously looking into the newer models that may have quieter motors. I still recommend it, if you are willing to deal with the issues I've described here. I wrote arrows on the handle in white, as the + and - indicators on the handle are black, in low-light, you can't see them. There is no other slider like this, so you really do have limited choices. The idea is good. the design is decent. but the loud motor sound on the slider was a NO GO for me and my situation (I'm my broadcast studio). Now - if you're out in a landscape type shoot - this could work well since you don't have to be worried about the sound. The app takes a bit to understand too, but after reading the instructions a couple of times it sinks in. Depending on your situation I'd recommend this slider

Sturdy, but doesn't have the reach that I needed.

This is pretty cool, but I haven't actually used it much. It doesn't extend as far out as I imagined, which makes it less useful for me. I use it with my smaller Nikon z30 and it seems stable. Watch the reviews and ads closely to be sure it will do what you need it to do for your work. It also can act as a low tripod, which is nice if your camera is already mounted on it.

I am constantly taking pictures for my clients and after awhile my hands get tired and my back aches from crouching so much. So when I discovered the Moza, I knew I had to have it. This is a great product, it goes well with my DSLR, it does exactly what I need it to do. It’s super easy to use and assemble. It’s very elegant and the wooden handle gives it a very modern appeal. The case is also a plus, it’s very small and easily portable

So, this thing is great, really worked for what I wanted it for. The only issue is, once you start it by hitting the button, it can shake a bit unless you steady it yourself. I haven't even used the app yet, I'm I'm still quite happy with it.

Would be cool with a gimbal to get some boom type shots or in an interview scenario using active track on the ronins. By itself, it's not worth the money. Even on sale.

I ordered this twice now and both times it was sooo shaky! While I’m aware some of the first batches problems the two I received were not of those defective units. I contacted moza and while they were very nice they could not help... they suggested I return it to them and they would send me another from their China warehouse....lol no thanks. Trust don’t buy this! Wait till they have a version 2 model.

Nice gears with unique design, functions are attractive but little bit pricey, with the remote control meets most of my shooting habits.
