After struggling as two senior citizens spending three hours trying to put bolts in place and struggling to tighten them up the unit was assembled and the next day we fired the system up and enjoyed it on three different occasions over the Fourth of July weekend with family and friends. The unit is easy to get ignited and the flame display was very good. A little concerned about getting the tank in place and removing it for a refill. Overall we like the unit.

Easy, clean replacement for wood pit

Had a wood fire pit and was tired of the mess, and having to maintain wood. Also, the effort to build and keep it going. This gives you a great fire in a minute. Not as much warmth and perhaps ambiance as a good old-fashioned wood fire in a pit, but it provides ambiance of its own. And with no set-up or clean-up or pesky smoke. Still have the wood fire-pit, but haven't used it since. This provides some warmth (hot enough that you're likely not keeping your feet on the tile rim) and does have a "burning propane smell" if you're sitting close and the wind blows it at you, but that's minimal to me for the ease of starting/stopping. Haven't been through a full propane tank yet so unsure how long it will last, but plenty happy with this decision. There is a bit of a trick to lighting it that seems to take me more tries than it should using the ignition switch, but could be user error. If that ignition goes bad, I'm imagining it would be just as easy to light with a lighter. Very happy with the purchase for those cooler nights sitting out on the patio.

Beautiful, easy to put together, easy to light, and if used on lowest fire setting 1 tank of propane goes along way. Mixed in some fire glass with the lava rocks and it really added to the look.
