Great coffee pot for the money. Very easy to use. The carafe keeps the coffee very hot

I went looking for a new coffee maker after my Cuisinart died (it was the second such one that died in less than 3 years of ownership). I found this gem of a coffee pot and gave it a shot. I once owned a Mr. Coffee simple pot that I carried with me from high school to over 20 years into my career before I decided to "upgrade" to the Cuisinart, so I was banking on that same high quality and have found it in this product. It is easy to use and keeps the coffee warm for long periods of time, which is great while working at home. The removable water reservoir is preferable to dragging cups from the sink to fill it. Hopefully, I'll get another 25 years from this one.

We were looking for a coffee maker that was nice looking, fast, easy to fill with water, and would keep brewed coffee hot for several hours. This unit meets all those criteria. We have found that the insulated carafe will keep the coffee hot for several hours and retain good coffee taste.

There are multiple features that are very nice. The fact that it shuts off after brewing is phenomenal. The keeps the coffe flavor at its best. There is an extra filter. This is not a necessity. In facr the filter is falling apart already. It has very good programmable timing. A good design for cleaning all of the nooks and crannies. Negatives include: If you are someone that empties out all of the water after each use, you ha e to allow for an unknown amount of additional water when adding the water. It brews too hot. In my opinion... far too hot. I wish that the temperature could be adjusted. This might simply be my perspective. Yet if you prefer your java at a cooler temperature then this is not for you.

I bought this coffee maker because I was moving and wanted a clean appliance on my new kitchen counter. A review from an online source said it was very fast which appealed to me. I also prefer a thermal carafe over a burner which allows for the coffee to stay hot without becoming burnt. I have had it now for 4 1/2 months and appreciate the easy to fill removable water reservoir which I prefer to the traditional pour in the top version. I have over the years become accustomed to the simple operation and good enough taste of the simple Mr. Coffee machines and this one has met my expectations. For the price, this coffee pot looks good, keeps my coffee warm without a burner, and makes good coffee.

First off, this is a nice looking unit. This has to be the quietest coffee maker I have ever come across. Makes good coffee and keeps it hot all day. I like the removable water reservoir, it's very handy.

Love this coffee maker. Easy to use, and clean. Appreciate the steel carafe so I don’t have to worry about it shattering while washing it in the sink. Makes a nice hot cup of coffee.

This is my second Mr Coffee brewer and it is even better than the original. I found that the design of the hinged lid on the first one often was in the way when filling with water but the new lid is completely removable so I can sit it aside. I love that there is no heating plate to burn my coffee. The insulated carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours. Best bonus? My carafe from my old brewer fits the new one so I can brew twice as much coffee at once for when I have guests! My old one still works after 6 years but was looking worn and brewing slower despite the regular cleaning. I could plug it in right now and brew coffee with it if needed. I don't do latte or capuccino, all those weird drinks, so a straight up brewer is just what I need. I hope Mr Coffee continues this one for MANY years to come.

Great coffeemaker with an insulated carafe that keeps contents hot for hours! Easy to clean basket too.

After replacing our old coffeemaker because it was not keeping the coffee hot enough after brewing, this Mr Coffee unit really was a surprise. The metal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours without continuing to "cook"it. We found if you preheat the carafe with hot water prior to brewing, the resulting coffee will stay hot much longer. Very happy with this coffeemaker!

For basic functionality, this is a great coffee maker, but my family and I were looking for a little more. Pros: Hot plate keeps coffee hot well after it is done Easy to handle Cons: Not as aesthetically pleasing as other coffee makers Not as convenient for scheduling

New Mr Coffee is an improvement on the previous model. We have had it for about 45 days. It is fast and once the correct amount of coffee was figured out, we had very good coffee. Don’t care for the water filter, it changes the taste.
