This is my 2nd Mr. Coffee in 5 years. I do love that the carafe is the same for both models. The color red compliments my other appliances in my kitchen. I’m not a big fan of the filter because they do not last that long and sometimes move while brewing which results in the coffee pouring all over the counter. Other than that, it keeps the coffee hot for hours and it is a good cup of Joe.

Purchased this coffee maker because the one I had previously had broken down, so I purchased the same one.

This is my 1st coffee maker and it has been great so far. No issues yet and the settings are easy to manage. I like the LCD screen it has, it helps illuminate the kitchen when the lights are off at night.

I like this coffee pot so much - I also purchase it for friends and family!

Makes a very good cup of coffee, especially considering the price. I’ve had this coffee maker less than a month, so I cannot address it’s longevity, but so far it has made consistently good coffee every time. You can regulate the warming plate, a nice feature which keeps the coffee hot to your taste so that your 2nd and 3rd cups are as good as your first. It also beeps before turning off so you can extend the “on” time if desired. Programmable; solidly made; all parts fit together well; decanter fits snugly under the basket, and does not leak.

This coffee maker makes great coffee. I had a Cuisinart prior to this one which went bad after a couple of years. Considering the cost of the Cuisinart I decided to purchase the Mr. Coffee. I have been very pleased with it except for one thing. When the top is raised water runs down the back of the maker and forms a pretty large puddle of water on the counter. I have tried opening the lid when it is still warm and after it has cooled but it doesn't make any difference. I've never experience this with any other coffee maker.

This coffee maker makes a good hot cup of coffee. On the middle heat setting it brews the coffee to where it's really hot straight out of the cup but doesn't burn your taste buds off . I imagine the hotter setting is great if you want to add cream and still have a really hot cup of coffee so it's great for everyone's taste. Has a lot of nice features for a basic machine. Brew strength is nice if you plan to brew a batch for iced coffee. The fresh brew timer is awesome too. Let's you know how long it's been sitting there and if it's still The separate water door is probably the best feature so you don't accidentally pour your cold water over the grinds.

I love the options on this coffee pot. The adjustable brew strength is fantastic, the ability to adjust the temp of the warming plate is great. The only draw backs are the separate hassle of the filter and filling the water is tedious, you have to be very careful. One other option would be that you can adjust the amount of time that the warming plate stays on.

The coffee pot looks great but it brews a little slower than expected. The last time I checked it was at least 15 to 20 minutes for a full pot. We like the water filter feature except we find ourselves changing the filter a lot. As long as you remember to set it the night before this pot is fine but don't expect to get up and make it while your getting ready.

If you're wanting something very basic then this machine is for you. You don't get any fancy settings but it's very easy to manage and use. I love that I can set a timer for when I want my coffee to brew the next morning and it's easy to clean. I wish the cord were a litttttle longer for my satisfaction, but all in all, it's a good machine.

Decent amount of options for a good price---especially the option to make my coffee hotter/colder. I also like the removable basket for taking out the coffee filters and they paid to making pouring water into the machine easier. Digital clock, timer and quiet operation add nice touches to this inexpensive but nice coffee maker.

It's a coffee maker. If you expect it to tap dance and whistle you are out of luck - buy a tea kettle with a leprechaun tweeter instead. If you expect it to provide you with a decent cup of coffee after you get up in the morning it will do the job. Programmable, takes about 10 minutes to brew a full pot (12 cups). Easily cleaned.

We had bought one of these about 5 years ago, and loved it. Used it every day, eventually the warming element wore out. We went out to replace it and thought we might 'upgrade', and then found that most units were 2x the price and actually had less features. Important to us is auto-shut off, and most other models forced you to turn on the auto-shut off after the delay brew had started. With this unit you can have your coffee brew when you want it AND have it shut off automatically with the push of one button ahead of time. The unit brews very light to very strong coffee, wide range of brew options. Easy to clean. Easy to access water receptacle. A very easy unit to own and use.

I had this model before and used it for a number of years before the finish started rubbing off the heating unit that keeps the coffee hot even then it still worked until I broke the carafe. replaced it with another Mr. Coffee unit for cheap which also worked fine but did not have the features this one does. Had an opportunity to get a new one that better matches the color of my new kitchen and went back to the model I had previously owned.

I'm a sucker for the original brands. Mr. coffee, perfect every time. Durable, long lasting, easy to use. The one flaw? The urn opening is too small to clean easily by hand. When ya have big hands.

This is a great basic coffee maker. I needed one with a timer as I tend to set up my morning coffee the night before. The timer works great, once you figure out how to get it set. Other than that, this coffee maker makes excellent coffee.

These don't fail until they fail and the they just die in two days. Until that time they are reliable like clockwork. Lasts about 2 years or slightly less. Makes good drip coffee every morning. Cheaper than Starbucks!!

This coffee maker makes great coffee. I especially like that there's a signal to tell you when it's done brewing, and another signal that tells you when it automatically shuts off - two hours after you make the coffee. The option to brew coffee strong or weak is also a nice feature. The carafe is easy to use, doesn't drip, and has an overall nice fit. All for a very reasonable price.

My first coffee maker, I love it the two tones colors red and black looks great in my yellow kicthen. It makes a mean pot of coffee in five minutes and you can set it for delayed- it has a timer and alert beepes

In the past our coffee makers had the controls down by the carafe warmer plate. If coffee dripped from the basket or dribbled off the carafe onto the warmer plate and lower part of the machine, it inevitably dripped onto the the various function buttons. After a while those buttons get stuck and gummed up with coffee. This machine has all of the function buttons ABOVE the carafe - so no dribbles onto the function buttons. Also, the carafe design provides for a tight fit under the basket drip spigot which further aids in reducing rogue drips that always result when you remove the carafe before the coffee is completely brewed in order to get a cup. The basket shutoff valves usually leak a little as you pull the carafe away and then as you reinsert the carafe (while the coffee is still brewing). This machine has minimal dripping from the basket because the carafe fit is tight and designed better so as to reduce drips in these situations. AND the price is very competitive for its features and design.
