    The coffee maker works well, so far. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's made in Ch*na. I looked at so many coffee makers and didn't find any in this size range made in any other country. I would have paid double of it were made anywhere else and triple if made in America.

    After a few months of owning, it started to act up. Every so often, it will turn off during mid-brew. Getting to the point of being replaced. I should have foreseen this issue since I had the same thing happen to my previous model, also from the same company.

Liquid mixing with electronics is really a dumb idea. The overall coffee basket/water drip system was obtuse and convoluted too. **As the great architect Louis Sullivan said: "Form follows function".** ALSO, I was really looking forward to a new coffee maker with auto shut-off. This item's specifications state auto shut-off as a key feature.     filter cup is to small. I can't find filters to fit thus coffee pot , I have to cut filters to fit. I wouldn't recommend this.
