Great little coffee maker! Makes the PERFECT amount of coffee for me in my small apartment.. seems to be built well, easy to keep clean & fits nicely on my kitchen counter!

We drink coffee as if it were water, but do not like the bulky coffee makers. Seen this one & fell in love with how compact it is. The price was even more appealing. Easy to use and just big enough to make two cups (12 oz or so) at a time. I like the intuitive and easy timed brewing feature. I already had a small metal basket filter that fit perfectly, so that one is not included didn't matter to me. (I recommend the metal filter over paper for quality and re-use.) Another great feature is the small 'footprint' on the counter. Takes up very little space.

Best coffee maker on a budget! Simple to use and makes good coffee. I put it on my bathroom counter.

I bought this coffeemaker on sale before Christmas 2020 & it exceeded my expectations. It has an auto shut-off, and brewing time can be set in advance, and I only bother setting the clock if I'm using this feature. Coffee brews hot & when I make a full pot, the coffee left in the carafe stays hot for an hour. It takes a small space on the counter while in use, and can easily be stored in a small space inside a cupboard, and it's easy to clean. The carafe size is perfect for 1 or 2 persons. When the water tank is filled with water to the max, it makes 24 oz brewed coffee (watch out for the open notch at the back of the coffeemaker so water doesn't leak out when over the fill limit.) For a 16 oz brewed coffee, I pour water half way between carafe mark for 5 cups & the next line up. Carafe marked cup sizes are for about 5 oz per cup, so keep that in mind. If you're like me & don't like bitter-tasting coffee, for a full carafe, measuring 4.5 tbsp of ground coffee is the way to go, and for a 16oz mug (halfway between 5&6cup line on the carafe) use 2.25 tbsp of ground coffee. And if you find Medium-roast coffee too light for your taste, and dark roast too bitter, combine half measures of both and you'll have the perfect taste, and don't forget to remove the used filter once brewing stops & no fluid left in the filter, and to ask for your coffee beans to be ground for flat-bottom filter when buying from coffee stores.

This 5-cup prohrammable coffee maker is suitable for 1 person or two. I like its auto shutoff, ease of operation. You set time by Hr/Min buttons in middle, and start brewing now or later. Filters are difficult to come by in stores--they take a Junior basket type (Melitta sells them online). One must place the filter frame securely in its slots. I'm happy with my nofrills adequate purchase.
