You can't beat 4k, i7, gtx1060, T3, and 512ssd in a notebook weighing less than 4 lbs. I saw an article naming an MSI model as "best of 2016", and after months of chats w my fellow networking students, this is where I landed. I got the exact specs I was looking for at the price I was looking to spend, so I'm happy. I will say that the speakers do get a bit garbled w heavy bass, but I'm still playing with the settings. The Dragon Center software makes it easy to set tuning profiles depending on what you're doing (or playing). Another item of note, is that I have yet to hear the fans or feel my machine heat up much, even after a couple hours of playtime on max settings.
If you're looking to spend this kind of money for a machine you won't need to replace for quite some time, I would definitely recommend it. With the 512ssd gtx 1060 card, and the Thunderbolt port, I'll be playing games fresh out the box for years to come, and I'll be able to do plenty of illustrations, animations, and char. sketches on it. Good luck with whatever you decide to take home.
I would recommend this to a friend
