I like the Laptop at first. Had alot of problems with getting the video settings for the game fortnite to go above 60 fps. Geek squad look at the laptop and coulnt figure it out either so I had the replace it. Now the second one does netflix and any videos in a green screen. And the steel series keyboard soft ware is a pain to mess with also .

I just bought this good computer, just the fan is really aloud!!! I haven't play games yet!

Despite a few minor starting problems with some games that are very large, this laptop works great and has a ton of space.

Purchased this laptop recently because it appeared to have everything I was looking for at a good price. Had never actually heard of MSI, but was willing to give them a shot. On paper it looked perfect. Not sure I can accurately describe the frustration it left me with in a short review. For truly no reason. Apparently you have to enable the thunderbolt 3 port before it will function. I have worked with computers my entire life and career. Built one in college 15 years ago, actually. I could not figure out how to do that, no matter how much research I did online. I'd get to the part where I needed to know the model number of the motherboard and the field in Windows settings would list it as 'unavailable'. Ok. I was simply trying to enable the product they sold me. I had already registered it. So, I tried to contact the company and that's when the situation went from bad to comical. Together with a friend who actually works in the IT department for his company, we couldn't even figure out how to submit a help request on the MSI website. It was laughable. You'd populate an entire form and at the bottom of the form you'd make a selection that would erase the form and send you to another form. They require that you know things like the 'chipset' before you can even ask them why the thunderbolt port won't work? We tried for a couple hours and at the end of that time had gotten nowhere, and had no way to even contact the company. It was a strange experience. The laptop itself was clunky and seemed like it was always trying to work against whatever I wanted to do. I tried to adjust the screen size to fit my second monitor, for example, and it shut off the large graphics processor and began using integrated graphics. Took me only a few articles to understand what to do about that. Closed the laptop lid while using the second monitor and... it crashed while going to sleep. Never actually went to sleep, just froze and no buttons would work. Had to do a hard restart. That was within the first 20 minutes of turning it on for the first time... by the end I had spent nearly half a day. And couldn't even ask them to help understand why or how to enable the basic features of a $1500 product they sell. Returned it and couldn't be happier with the HP spectre I got instead. Night and day difference in every way possible.

I am a student studying computer science and I am going to use this for programming and for gaming.

Laptop is very good for the price points, I definitely want to spend more time with it but I love it so far.

I had the first generation of this laptop and decided to upgrade to enjoy the newer and more features.

Its a great laptop the only problem that i had was the reinstallation of the wifi and gpu drivers

Laptop was easy to set up, not a lot of blotware to uninstall, over all a good purchase

the only issue i ran into is that the numbers lock was stuck but it was easily fixable

Great laptop for all your gaming needs...but beware...the audio is horrific.

Works great while playing the sims 4, I just wish it came in a smaller size.

So I bought a MSI and literally a month later it stopped working on me.... thank god I had a two year warranty. I went through a troublsome process and later found out that they couldn’t fix my laptop. I was given a refund and I decided to get the same laptop-I loved it enough to buy the same one again
