I bought this laptop after it was recommended to me by a friend, and it is a very nice laptop. The 6 core processor makes it run very smoothly, no matter what you use it for. The frame on it has a good build and a slick matte finish, however, it is kind of a fingerprint magnet, if that bothers you. Keyboard is amazing, and touchpad is pretty good, but as it is hinged from the top, it gets kind of stiff to press up there, but as I use it with a mouse mostly, I'm not really that fussed about it. I/O ports don't leave much lacking, especially since they managed to fit a full HDMI port on this, even though it is so thin. It would have been nice to have an SD reader, but if you really need one, then you can get a USB adapter for around $10, so it isn't that bad. The screen is wonderful, 144Hz really does make a difference, cutting down on screen tears and latency. Speakers are great, and the with the mic's lateral sound cancellation you can't even hear the fans when you put them on cooler boost (the fastest setting). The battery life was incredible for a gaming machine, lasting around 5 1/2 hours with continuous web surfing. Overall, this is a great laptop, I would recommend it to anyone.
