The MSI GS65 ST is arguably the best laptops you can buy in its price range. The Stealth Thin is very sleek and professional looking which makes it perfect for school, work, and gaming. It packs tons of performance into such a small frame, and the only drawback I have noticed from that is the heat and fan noise after an hour or two of playing graphic intensive games. This laptop definitely beats out the Razer Blade 15, mainly because it costs about $500 less and you're less likely to buy a defective laptop (Some models from the first batch of Razer Blade 15s had issues).

My experience on GS65 is a little bit complicated. I ordered the first batch of this laptop on BestBuy and pick up by myself on 5/9 in West Hollywood. The laptop seems to be pretty delicate. As an ultra-thin gaming laptop, I don't wanna be too harsh on its surface temperature. However, maybe I'm quite unlucky, I met almost all the defects that I've seen on the Internet: severe screen bleeding on the left edge, terrible touch pad with unpressable buttons, suddenly high-spin fans in normal conditions and frequent fake system halts. You can say that these are not big problems, but they left me very bad impression. Good news is that when I choose to change a new one on 5/31, things become different. Those small defects have totally gone. The differences that I've noticed include a new SATA SSD (Toshiba SG6 instead of Samsung PM871A) and two black fans for the graphics card instead of one red and one black on the old batch. I've no idea why MSI made these changes. What I know is that this batch of laptop might have much better quality. It's good time for those who have interests in GS65 to take it home! P.S.: I know that many people also take an eye on the new Razer Blade 15. Before you make your decision, think about Razer's previous quality control and whether you can accept at least $400 gap. GS65 is not perfect, but it definitely worth its price.
