I think this laptop is amazing the only downside is the mouse & trying to upgrade it yourself

This MSI laptop has 16 Gigs of memory, but it can take 32. I find it very fast and easy to use.

I like it a lot. But buy a microfiber cloth. The black shows fingerprints very easily.

Alright so let's start off by saying that this is a fantastic piece of hardware. Slim, powerful, and an absolute feather. While I already own a desktop, I needed a laptop for school and powerful enough to take on any task I throw at it. Half the time I forget I'm even using this guy. There are some caveats though and I will go through them in just a few but for now, I don't think I can praise this little guy enough. I did come from a Lenovo Y-500 with a 3rd gen CPU and older 650m graphics so of course, anything would be better. Helps me pass time being able to play modern titles at or near max settings 1080p while in school; something I wasn't able to do with my older y500. PROS: Lightweight Powerful CPU, GPU (1070 Max-Q) Nice key travel and RGB customization. Better trackpad than my last laptop. Slim bezels and footprint. Great battery life (a good 6-7 hours regular usage) Sounds great right? Well hold on there partner there are indeed some issues that I wish weren't present but do not detract from my overall experience with this laptop; so here are a few. CONS: Slower SATA 3 drive vs. standard NVMe (Not that big of an issue, still fast but I upgraded mine) Slightly underwhelming speakers. Not very loud and lacks punch, I guess it's to be expected with a slim and light notebook. Throttles a bit because of the cooling solution. Not enough to keep the CPU cool, you don't notice it too much but it does happen. And the biggest one of them all, getting into the internals. Jesus is it a hassle, honestly one of the main reasons that almost put me off this laptop. I did muster up the courage and managed to open my laptop but almost had a heart attack. Did everything correctly and even plugged back in everything but in reverse order, the backlight wouldn't turn on. At this point, I thought I had ruined my $2k investment, removed everything again and made sure everything was tight and it worked. That feeling alone might not be worth it to some people, I'm used to just lifting up the backplate and changing what I need but this was a whole new beast. Either way, as I mentioned before, the pros definitely outweighed the cons from this laptop. Being able to play any game I want anywhere with fantastic battery life to boot, makes me so happy. I love taking this thing out and just being able to surf the web, listen to music, and do some productivity work in between classes without worrying about battery life. If you read this review and everything sounds about right for you, then get this thing now! Honestly, you won't regret it. I don't, I'm using this thing until it gives out!

Just Love It! I can play Just on Battery And my old one that was Impossible.

I expected a laptop at this price point to be nearly bullet proof. The MSI felt as if it was slapped together with cheap plastic and I had zero confidence it would last long. It was also not as fast as I thought it would be, it was quite loud and ran very hot even with a cooling fan. Although this is to be expected from a gaming laptop. I’m am not into gaming so i was not suited to use this product. I would not recommend d this product.

it was working good for about 6 months until one day there was a black dot on the screen and it still is there after 1 year but the computer is still working good

This laptop is the BEST when it comes to processor speed. This screen is vibrant. This is super light with how much hardware is inside of it. This laptop is filled with opportunity! This ran my graphic extensive games without any lagging. My VR apps and games were also ran on highest settings and there was no lag. It was crisp and I would recommend this laptop to all of my friends. The price is a little pricey however, it is worth every penny. The fan is a little loud but it's expected of a high power machine. Be aware of the SSD space and get yourself an external hard drive that you can plug in. Similarly to other reviewers, I would have loved to been able to upgrade the SSD and RAM but beggars cant be choosers. I would use external speakers/headphones to listen to music/play games since the volume isn't very loud. All in all, this laptop is amazing. Thank you!
