not but a multistasking business savvy laptop, the laptop tends to turn on randomly when travelling only to find it too hot to pull out of my bag at times due to the accumulated heat from the fans. upgraded to 64gb ram but still made for a gamer who stays put and doesnt need to travel or requrie a power outlet so quickly... rather disappointed but still workable with. make sure to get the extended warranty plan, for 250-300 especially on a $2,000 investment

This laptop host a rtx 2060 with 32gbs of ram and an i7 9th gen. Although its price to performance isn't great, and upgrading storage is quite difficult and the fans get quite loud underload, the laptop is very thin, sleek and host a 240hz monitor. It is one of the best looking low profile gaming laptops I've ever bought thus far.

This laptop is great for gaming. It does run a little loud and hot, but you can undervolt it and avoid those issues while still running most games at 60fps. It's also incredibly thin and light so I use it work work during the day and gaming when I get home at night. It's a perfect laptop if you are looking for the best of both worlds.

I wanted a laptop that would be able to do anything in terms of CAD solid modeling or gaming for the next 5 years. I did a lot of research and this one is amazing, especially getting it for $500 off (at $1500). Super fast, amazing graphics, tons of RAM, I only wish it had a bigger SSD because it is already filling up quite a bit.

This is a very powerful machine. No doubt with that. But thinness comes with a price. It gets super hot. The 9th gen of i7 just makes it hard for this computer to maintain a below 90 temperature. Undervolting would help but not very much. So if you're a gamer and want this product, I suggest of getting a cooling pad. Not a cheap one.

Bought this when I transitioned to a self-employed, work-from-home civil engineer. Wanted something that was portable (even though I primarily used docked) but robust enough to handle the 3D modeling that I do via AutoCAD. About 11 months in and working like a charm thus far!

Good performance but run so hot and drain battery so fast.

Great laptop, I got it on sale for $1400. 32GB of RAM, 240Hz monitor and RTX 2060 are some of the key specs on this laptop in terms of having a powerful gaming machine. I use it for editing music and videos also so it does a great job as a portable workstation also.

Bought it when it was on sale so it was $500 less. So worth it. So far this thing runs like a beast. Only thing would be the thermals are kind of wonky and fan does get loud. But other than that I would pretty much recommend this laptop.

Pros: Monitor is superb, especially for a laptop, having the high refresh rate is fantastic. System is responsive, my boot up time is less than 7seconds. Games play very well at frame rates significantly higher than gaming consoles, and with higher graphics settings. Cons: My number one complaint is the very faint "ticking" sort of noise that seems to occur during boot and sometimes when the hard drive is working. It is a solid state drive m2ssd but something is noise. Obviously it's a gaming laptop and while gaming the fans can be loud, but that is a compromise to have such a thin machine. Be sure to buy a cooling laptop platform for it to sit on especially if using it on your lap or in bed, otherwise the temps with get higher, even on a flat hard surface, that should be common sense but I'm putting out here anyway. Top of lid gets smudges even from the tiny amounts of natural oils produced by your skin even if they are clean and recently washed. Overall: Excellent machine for the price, I spent MONTHS researching and trying to find the perfectly balanced gaming laptop for my budget and as soon as this hit the shelf, it cost the same or less than machines that were significantly less powerful. 10/10 Would purchase again. Also worth noting, but not really a con is the harddrive is low capacity for a gaming machine in my opinion, and according to my research there is a slot for another m2ssd but it appears to me that you would have to take the whole laptop apart (take the board out of the chassis) to get to it.

Runs kinda hot at higher frame rates than 60 FPS. However a great portable gaming machine that runs all modern titles at 1080p maxed out settings. Fairly expensive, however it is a gaming laptop with a full metal body. You get what you pay for, and in this case you get a premium feeling laptop that preforms.

Love this computer. I am a graphic artist and a musician so I am constantly challenging my CPU to keep up. The multi colored keyboard is also a cool addition. Highly recommend this for anyone who needs power when creating and can still be mobile.

Awesome multi purpose laptop.. 32 gigs blew mymind. I use more for programming. and have found it very fast , to host a virtual box within in after some tweaks!! love this one.

This is a very portable computer with all the features of a gaming laptop. Compared to my Razor Blade 2015 and MacBook Pro 2016, this is a much better product. The screen works well in sunlight and looks stellar. The keyboard was a surprise. It types well and the SteelSeries lighting is fun. Two complaints: 1: the built in speakers are a 1/10. Very very quite. Just fine if you’re in a quite room, otherwise they are useless. 2: the screen hinge is a bit flimsy because of the way it’s molded. I don’t think it is actually flimsy, but it does have the same unibody feel as the MacBook or Razer. That said, the mouse pad is way better than the Razer and the hardware and screen are much better than the Mac.

Laptop is Great. 240hz panel looks amazing.. I had to adjust the fan speeds, stock fan settings are hot 6 core 12 thread cpu = toasty, 90c+. 2060 gpu stays around 80c needs bigger ssd as mine was full in a week

Great all around laptop. I wanted a real gaming machine. My fiance wanted thin and light. This was the compromise and we are both happy. Get this on sale though. The base price is too high.

Best MSI gaming thinnest laptop ever made. Very fast and can be overclocked for more better performance. I would definitely recommend this laptop for gaming.

Totally overkill for most games. Games run smoothly and has no problem multitasking dual monitors with various programs up. Also gets things done with work and other programs that aren’t games. Sleek and thin bezel with gold accent gives awesome look.

It is a fantastic gaming laptop. A total machine. Can be a lil hot and somewhat noisy fan but at the fps I run and kind of games I play that is expected

Size wise it’s little heavy but expected for a gaming laptop. The machine is pretty fast and can be upgraded to 64 gigs. I definitely recommend the laptop
