This is my second MSI laptop. The first one did not disappoint at all. This one is so sleek. I truly enjoy the slimness of the laptop as well as how lightweight it is. I personally have small issues with this model's touchpad, but my use of it is minimal as I have a separate wired mouse. My issue with the touchpad is the "left" and "right" click buttons aren't are easy to push. Left is avoidable because of simply tapping the touchpad will react the same way, right isn't as easy. Other than that, the speed is quick. Freshly opened and booted and I was able to download 3 programming software, and 4 games rapidly in succession. I was tempted to buy a cheaper brand, but MSI has earned my trust with their customer service as well as their dragon center. Troubleshooting with MSI is quick and easy. Other brands leave you hanging with your problem unsolved unless you want to spend even more money. Buying this laptop is a large cost, but it is worth it. Speed, clarity of both visual and sound, the storage is wonderful with having dual storage systems. After having a 256 SSD and 16GB ram for over 2 years, I am UNABLE to downgrade. It is incredible! I play a lot of steam games, fortnite, league of legends, world of Warcraft, overwatch, and many others and I am able to run ultimate quality on all games. I am easily able to operate with Linux on this laptop as well, (school related). If you are doubting spending the few extra hundred dollars for the same specs but a different name, its completely worth it. Personal recommendation : BUY THE ADDITIONAL WARRANTY FROM BEST BUY. If you dont, then you are still covered by MSI and their warranty. They have a lovely 12month manufacturer warranty that will cover any inherent hardware defects. The Best Buy warranty is worth the few hundred dollars. It has saved me in the past with a few different products. Accidents happen, warranties are meant to help protect your financials if they do. I am a satisfied BestBuy & MSI customer.

This laptop is FAST! The graphics are clean, the sound is decent (after updating the driver), and the machine just flat-out performs. As noted, I did have to update the audio drivers to handle a horrible audio, constant scratchy hissing noise. Once that was done, I had no other issues. I don't know how this thing could be better...

Its a beautiful looking laptop and meets optimal capacity of what I want it to do and it works wonderfully

This laptop is a gamer's dream. I got this for my teenage sons and it has surpassed their expectations.

This is the fastest laptop that I layed my fingers on... like ever. Plays everything that I throw at it at max settings permissible, doesn't matter how many background sites and programs are open at the same time, including streaming videos at 1080p. Everything is turning on instantly. Did the dual boot with Windows 7 and had no major drivers issues doing that. Even battery life has surpassed my expectations when browsing the inner webbs and even streaming the whole movies, not gaming tho but that's obvious. The only drawback is the finicky touch pad but getting wireless mouse will make you forget it's even there. This was great buy and great performance to price ratio..Recommend to anyone wanting to do all and everything from the luxury of your lap.
