I was on the fence on buying or building my own pc. I decided to purchase this prebuilt and not go through the hassle of building myself. I have owned this desktop for about two weeks now and have had zero issues. I waited before writing this review. Out of the box I opened things up and verified everything was plugged in. No issues booting up and now issues with the software. I did add 32gb of ram. This desktop had what I was looking for a 2080 super and 1tb ssd. I may add another harddrive later on. For now this pc will keep me gaming for a few years to come. I have played modern warfare on 2k at about 100-144 fps. My monitor is 2k at 144hz. As far as heat I have had no problems with my cpu heating up. My GPU does get to about 85 but that's where it stops and doesn't go over. I may add another fan for exhaust. This PC is worth its value and keeps my games running.

NOTICE THIS. I saw many people complaining about cpu temp being incredibly high. And I have a feeling I know why. I noticed the same thing, so I opened it up to check if there was enough thermal paste. Turns out there was a plastic film still on the liquid cooler (ironically labeled "Remove before installation). Make sure this is removed and then add some more thermal paste when reinstalling the liquid cooler to the CPU. After that it was idling fine at around 35 degrees and topping out at 75 with Modern Warfare at ultra settings. Still a little high but it's a stock cooler. I hope this helps!!

    Major issues with Windows installation

OK, first of all, the product seems like a great deal for the price. It's running quiet and fast, doing well on demanding games, etc., etc. I didn't have any of the physical problems mentioned in other reviews. That's why there's two stars, not one. However, the version of Windows installed at the factory is using a key that's registered to another product. So I can't activate Windows, which means I can't, say, change the hideously garish MSI wallpaper. "No biggie," I thought, "I'll just contact them and have them issue a new key." No. That's not how they do things in this strange, alternate universe. In order to get this problem fixed I will need to SEND THE ENTIRE MACHINE from Ohio to California and back. (They're not asking me to pay shipping, at least, but come ON.) In other words, their solution to a purely digital problem is two more rounds of physical shipping, and thus countless opportunities for the kind of damage other reviewers have noted. I'm disgusted at myself for buying this thing. I'm currently trying to get hold of Best Buy to see if they can provide a solution, but of course wait times are nearing two hours and online chat isn't available. Just a really awful experience all around.

    Great PC

This PC is great so far. I did the math before taxes all the parts included will cost about $1600-$1650. The PC was easy to set up and its runs games such as Fortnite flawlessly at 240fps. I am able to play games such as AC orgins in 4k on ultra high settings really good as well without overheating. I have not overclocked any components btw. Sence getting this pc my kd on fortnite jumped from 2 to 7. Cons The only con is that modern warefare makes my PC slightly hot. I have reached 82c on modern warefare. I am also getting low fps on that game compared to people on youtube with the same build. I might get 2 extra fans to place on the top of the case. Most builds on youtube have 3+ fans and this one only has 1.

As echoed by plenty of other reviewers here, my experience with this PC has been, quite literally, hot. A few hours of Modern Warfare or any similarly graphically intensive game got the CPU running towards 96C max. I was reading plenty of reviews stating that changing out the stock cooler for a larger AIO would help. I don't really have the funds lying around to shell out another $150 for that, so I took 2x 140mm case fans I had from my older dying PC into this one to see if it'd help with the cooling. To my surprise temps dropped across the board by 10-12 degrees when idle, and now games reach a max of 85-87C. Still not perfect for many people, but perfect for my needs for now. Until one can invest in another cooling solution I'd recommend getting some cheap, spare case fans. Excellent prebuilt with some flaws.

First of all, MSI. Everything. If you’re a fan then you’ll love this setup just as I did. Basically if you have $1750 laying around and either wanna upgrade and/or start your PC gaming career well look no further. Top of the line graphics, 16 gigs of super fast ddr4 RAM and of course 1000 Gigabytes of blazing fast SSD. And don’t forget the sick mechanical keyboard that’s included. And of course you are going to need a mouse..good thing they included one of those too. Just need a pretty decent monitor and your set for oh idk maybe 5+years in gaming. So might as well get one.

I read the reviews about the overheating and was going to return but decided to give it a chance after following directions of a couple reviewers and went into bios to put the fans on smart mode which allows fans to run faster as heat temps rise. No problems so far, did a 60 minute race in my Sunday league and it was perfect. Love my MSI PC and would recommend to any gamer. Ran consistent 140 FPS during race. Graphics were beautiful, almost like being there.

Great computer, minor issue out of the box

Upon boxing, there were two minor issues with the machine. 1. 2 of the 4 thumb screws that hold the glass panel on we’re missing. ( I’ve contacted MSI and replacements are pending) 2. The right front tower upright was not seated properly causing a ding in the case due to abnormal joint stress. I was able to pop the upright into the proper seating, but the ding remains. I was originally going to return the machine as it’s not cheap and should not have imperfections out of the box, but it’s a great machine and runs without issue. It won me over and I’ve decided to keep it as is. Currently running iRacing locked at 90FPS without any issues at all. If it weren’t for the issues mentioned above I’d give it a 5.

First gaming pc and I’m very happy with this purchase, run all games at high FPS, only problem is while playing call of duty war zone my cpu temps run a little high, planning on changing the stock cpu cooler for better temps, other than that I’m extremely happy with this pc.

I bought this computer about two weeks ago. The GPU/CPU/Memory/SSD specs are second to none for the price. I did not have any issues with the quality of the build. Overclocking works spectacularly out of the box for both RAM/CPU. Temperature has not been an issue.

Runs most of my games well, high to ultra setting graphics will make the cpu run hot depending on the title but as an example Ive been playing a lot of apex legends on high. Replaced the 120 mm radiator cpu cooler for a 360 mm to make up for lack of efficient airflow.

I've own this desktop for around 3 weeks now. Within the first week of owning it, it was overheating at max setting playing any game that taxes the cpu/gpu. The airflow of the desktop is horribly restricted by the front covering and the water cooler is not big enough to handle the amount of heat generated. Other than this terrible heating/cooling design the desktop runs great with the specifications.

I needed speed for video and photography and got it with this gaming machine. I wasn't impressed with the keyboard, so I continued to use my ergonomic keyboard from the previous machine. I wish it came with more hard drive than just 1TB.

An amazing desktop and a huge upgrade from gaming on consoles. Only problem is the flaw that everyone seems to have. It runs very hot and seems to not have any ventilation. I have to keep the case open just so it doesn’t overheat and destroys my pc. But by keeping it open, it’s more viable to get dusty. So I’m gonna have to mess around a little with the casing to get some better ventilation on it to keep it from overheating so fast and so high

I was going to build my own machine with the same specs and my wife found this one and it so happened to be cheaper than building it myself! I purchased 3 of them for my family and looking to order 1 more. Great gaming machine. I plan to upgrade it to I9 and add some more ram in a couple years. I always clean all the bloatware off purchased machines but by surprise this one didn't have alot of bloatware to clean up! I'm enjoying my purchase.
