    Laziness, carelessness, and MSI shouldbeembarassed

I never really write reviews, but this time it's necessary. I bought this even after seeing the reviews. All in all a good build, but the laziness and lack of carelessness MSI has shown making this thing shows why its got such bad reviews. My CPU has been getting hot since I purchased this PC. I know Ryzen CPU's do get hotter than Intel, but 90 degree's Celsius is crazy. I thought it was the liquid cooler being bad, but it wasn't.. I went out and bought a new liquid cooler and thermal paste to kill two birds with one stone. If it wasn't the liquid cooler then it would be the thermal paste. But was I wrong. I unplugged the liquid cooler and everything for on the CPU and the led housing. I unbolted the Liquid cooler and just had the housing on the CPU. AS SOON AS I WENT TO TAKE OF THE COOLING HOUSE OFF THE CPU A HALF A TURN ON ONE OF THE SCREWS IT JUST FELL OFF. I mean just fell off. That shows they do not do a quality check on their Computers and no telling what else they do not do. They do not care and that's sad of how big of a company MSI is. Now my computer is staying below 70 degrees Celsius with the CPU overclocked. The computer is working great now. If you want to buy it you can, but I would recommend getting some thermal paste and reseating the CPU before even plugging it up and gaming. I am just very disappointed with MSI and next time I will just build my own. Also I will recommend getting it, if you want to double check the CPU Cooler and reseat if necessary, but if you don't stay away from it.

Solid gaming pc. 3 stars though because the water cooler pump went out. With in the first week of having it. Besides that, the pc runs amazing. No complaints.

Writing this review for any one having overheating issues. Mine was crashing after about two minutes and the CPU was getting to above 90 degrees. After doing some research, the liquid cooling pump has been known to have issues. After I replaced that everything works great.

Bought June 2022, worked for 6 months then kept shutting down for overheating issue. My friend who builds his own checked it out: check wire connection points, power supply, thermal paste quantity, and cooler itself. Diagnostic had the cpu running up to 91 degrees Celsius (195F). He took it put in a different cooler (air cooler instead of liquid, but it’s what he had on hand,) and now it runs fine, with a steady temp of 57-58 degrees. My guess to those having trouble, faulty cooler.

MSI Aegis ZS Gaming Desktop features AMD Ryzen R7 5800X that is optimized for gaming and for content creators due to its 8-cores and 16 threads. It may be a great alternative to building your own gaming pc due to the raising chip cost and graphics card. Pros: • Excellent processor performance • Bright RGB lighting with the option of LED button to customize the desktop with 60 lighting effects • Great expansion options • Easy to upgrade with its unique case designs • Cheaper than DYI building gaming desktop • Better port selection and switches on the front and back • Smart Access Memory for maximum bandwidth Cons: • Cable Management could be better • Lacks Wi-Fi 6 What’s in the box: Gaming Desktop, Power cord, User Manual, Gaming RGB Keyboard, RGB Mouse Specs/Internals: This gaming desktop comes with Windows OS 11 Home, CPU AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8C/16T 3.8-4.7 GHz 32MB Cache, Motherboard MSI ATX Motherboard, VGA AMD Radeon™ RX 6700 XT 12GB GDDR6, 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler, 16GB DDR4 (2 x 8GB), WiFi5(802.11ac) Dual band wireless, 1TB of NVMe SSD Storage. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X is optimized for high-FPS gaming rigs and allow you stream at the highest quality with its 8-cores, 16 threads, 36MB of cache, and boost clocks up to 4.7 GHz Port options on this model include on the front panel( top ): Power button, Reset Button, status light, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Type A, Mic in, Headphone out, LED Button to customize the desktop with lighting effects and for software mode. On the back there are one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, four USB 2.0, one HDMI out, three DisplayPort outputs and a power supply port(650W). Design: Looks great with the RGB lighting lit up and with the dedicated button on the front to change the lights is a cool feature for gaming experience. Desktop runs cool with its 120mm dragon liquid cooling that allows the max heat dissipation and handles the intensive games very well. Case looks great with its tempered glass tower that can easily accessed for upgrade without needing any tools. With the RGB lighting this glass tower case looks very classy and takes the gaming experience to next level. This desktop outperforms Geek bench and cinebench processor performance benchmarks of my DIY built gaming desktop and is a beast compared to it. Setup is straightforward. Just make sure to remove the glass side panel by removing 4 screws and discard carefully foam packing and inspect all the connections are firm before connecting the power supply. Reattach the glass panel. Connect the monitor either by HDMI or DP out. I connected to the 49inch Samsung CRG9 monitor using HDMI, turned on the power by hitting the power button. This desktop comes preinstalled with Windows 11 home edition and the setup took few minutes to configure and the user interface is beautiful and smooth. Tried loading up few games and loaded anti-virus to test this pc. It performed well and this PC is a powerful beast that can handle anything that can threw at it. Its very easily upgraded for more specs in the future but for gaming, work(trading), video/photo editing. Performance was on par with multiple programs and the benchmark for cinebench for single core CPU was at 1568 and Multicore is 15281. Overall, this is a better option alternative compared to the DIY built desktop with the increase in chip & processor price. All the tested games passed well with great benchmark scores with multitasking few applications for video/photo editing for content creation. Highly recommend to anyone who in the market for a gaming desktop with good configuration including gaming keyboard and mouse.

This is my first MSI gaming desktop PC and I must say I'm impressed. Below are the pro(s) and con(s) IMO, Pro(s) * Design (case is metal and not plastic) * Ryzen 7 5800X * RX 6700XT * Liquid Cooled * RBG * Additional Storage Bays Con(s) * SATA cables for additional storage weren't already connected (comes with 2 and you have to connect to the motherboard yourself) For the price (on sale at $1699.99 at the time of purchase), you can't beat the features for the price.

Good all around pc, does everything i expected it to. Only did a couple small tweaks to the build added another ssd and hard drive. Installed 4 16gb ram sticks for gaming, streaming and watching a movie on my triple monitor setup, cooling was the biggest draw back for me installed a larger cpu cooler/rad and added another case fan

I'll start out by saying that is an extremely good PC. You can't really go wrong with the specs, and you will have no issue at running any game. It came securely packed, and also the build of the PC is clean. This isn't exactly quiet like I've seen in some reviews. Sure it is when idle, but when things start to heat up, you my friend have a jet engine next to you lol. That isn't the fault of MSI, but just the nature of the beast when it comes to AMD. The biggest issue I had was a few hours into running it I started hearing a clicking sound coming from the PSU. I thought great, the PSU is junk and I'm going to have to go through the headache of returning this. I took the PSU out and noticed it was coming from the fan on the PSU. Hopefull it was just the fan, i replaced it with a fan from an older PSU that I had in storage. No more clicking sound thankfully.

Very good machine for the price. It worked great, until it didn't. Looks like there is a common cooling issue right around the 4 month mark. Mine was no different. One night the computer shut off from overheating and has not been able to maintain normal temperatures since.

Something like this would cost 1,000 to build. So obviously its reslly overpriced but thats the downside of buying any prebuilt. The Ryzen 7 5800x and the 6700xt work reallt well together. the first thing i would upgrade is the gpu. But that would be in mnay years when something like this starts to struggle in games. The cpu is a beast and your wont have to upgrade it for even longer. Benchmarks: 200 fps in apex at 1440 max settings. 150 fps in warzone 1440 low medium settings. Valorant and csgo will go up to 500 fps. Basically always above 240fps.

“CPU Overheating” is the error i constantly get. The computer is still basically new, 3 months old. I have 2 triple A games and one online low graphics game on the CP and nothing else. The computer crashes in about 20 mins and won’t turn back on. Best buy is also telling me that they do not care and its the manufacturers problem. I paid for geek squad proctection and best buy is still telling me to go to the manufactuer. Complete scam, DO NOT BUY.
