Absolutely fantastic! I have been running Nvidia GPU's for the last 10+ years and have really enjoyed them so I was a little bit in the fence when this became available. I am coming from a 3060 that was a solid card, but this 6800 XT is night and day. The MSI design is very eye catching and looks great inside the chasis. It is big and heavy so you will definitely want to install the GPU support arm or pick up on to help support its mass. Performance is off the charts. I run 2K and it accomplishes this with ease while staying super cool. Loaded I have never seen the temp go over 72 degrees. I am actually super impressed by AMD's software. It offers alot of data for your gaming which I really appreciate. I would even go as far to say it is better and more comprehensive than Nvidia's (outside of the broadcast suite) You will love this card, get it if it is available and don't think twice.

I bought this just before the GPU market fell, so I can't say the value was worth it at this point. But functionally, it does everything I need it to. I can push most modern games to high and ultra settings on a 1440p ultrawide at 144hz

Honestly not a bad option if you’re looking to go AMD it’s a good card and performed great with the AAA games I played even with rah tracing on. NVIDIA obviously does better with ray tracing but with prices still higher this isn’t a bad option or if you like AMD. Wasn’t too loud and the user interface was easy to use. Biggest thing you’ll want to make sure is that your case is big enough. These new cards are huge. In the end no complaints.

TLDR: Great card but becareful with overheating. Do your research to avoid early card burnout. I have had this card for 2 weeks now and i have put it through its paces and it has done well. I advise caution with all AMD cards though because they pride themselves on how quiet they are. They do this by setting the cooling setting to a very passive setting, even going as far as having them turned off completely by default while under a certain temp. I suggest you manually setup the fan curve and turn off the quiet mode setting and make sure your case has good airflow. I play everything at 1080p ultra and card doesnt get over 50C. Just because AMD says the card CAN run at 100c, doesnt mean you SHOULD run iy at 100c.

5 stars for performance and cooling. But this price is not cool. Regardless of supply and demand. Not worth retail price.

The price wasn't great however the performance is. This is my first amd card, I've always had NVidia. I am not disappointed with switching after using this card for a few weeks. At 1440p it is fantastic as long as you don't want raytracing. 4k is also nice with it.

Temperatures are great, MSI did a great job with this card as it is stable and OC is super easy. Prices are high right now but that is the only drawback. If you can't wait until prices normalize this is your card to upgrade.

Amazing card. Playing at 3840x1600. All games at max, rarely goes back low 60.
Cooler is amazing on this card. Performs almost the same as watercooled.

My systems are usually strictly MSI because I've had really good luck with them. My last MSI GPU was a Seahawk 1080ti and it was awesome. I really wanted to like this GPU but it runs extremely hot. Adjusting fan speeds brought temps in check but the fans became too noisy for my taste (adjusted all of my case fans and AIO fans to compensate). The composite back plate doesn't help with the temps either. Too bad they didn't use aluminum... This is a fast card and if your case has good airflow and you don't mind the extra noise and heat then this is for you.

I bought this back in January, but ended up returning it as despite being such a high end card it just could not keep up with my 49" ultrawide Samsung monitor. It also had issues when using Freesync that I have not had since obtaining my 6900 XT (which has it's own slew of issues tbh, but doesn't cause random white lines to appear on the monitor that this card caused to appear.) I imagine if you have a more standard size monitor this would likely work fine? But being such a high end card I honestly expected more out of it, even with the monitor I have. Oh well.

To expensive to be running at 99% on most games. Save your money and get a more reliable graphics card. I'm not even playing at 4k which I doubt it can handle at this level.

Do not buy this card. Avid gamer avid pc builder this card nothing but issues it stutters frame drops i have spent hrs messing with amd software still having issues will be returning. My 3070 same build works like a charm i wanted so bad for this card to be good. I think where the confusion is with the other reviews why they are saying it is good is because they are upgrading from really old cards. Dont waste your money on this i promise its not worth the headache.
