My current build consists of a Ryzen 5 3600 which works perfectly with this board. The bios flashback feature is a very useful feature that comes with this board and may be something you want to utilize if you plan on using it for a Ryzen 3000s series. I am also using a ram 3600mhz kit and got it to work perfectly with this board even though the max was stated to be 3466mhz. The led on the board can also be changed and is also synced up with my case through the MSI Mystic light program that can be found in the support page of this board. I upgraded from an Intel based board and I feel like this was one of the best decisions I made in awhile, if you're looking for a great board to pair with your Ryzen 5 3600 the B450 tomahawk is one of the best options.

For my first PC build with my son, and easy-to-setup board. BIOS is simple to use. Works great with RGB fans but could use more RGB options. Also wish the manual would explain the some of the settings more.

Was doing my build for my 3700x bought this because x570 motherboard I wanted was on back order and thought $100 plus bios flash back to update the bios for gen 3 ryzen was good enough until x570 comes available. So far I don't see any reason to buy x570 motherboard. I overclocked my 3700x and is stable I installed 16gb of ddr4 3600mhz is stable with xmp

Bios is laid out very nicely ...Easy enough to set everything up... and if you mess up the bios update you can even press a little button in the back and go back to the original bios...no problems what so ever out of this MSI motherboard.....THANKS MSI YOU DID IT AGAIN!!!!!!

The easy to configure built in BIOS overclock for the RAM alone is worth its weight in gold. User friendly simplified BIOS, very easy to configure. Lots of fan headers and runs like a champ. First time detect on the m.2 during first boot. Paired with a 2600 and a GTX 1060 6GB. Games at 1080P / 60 FPS no problem at all. Awesome build quality. Highly recommend!

I love this motherboard, playing games on it is amazing and its supper fast. I also love the face that i can have 3 fans hooked up to it and can control when they kick in.

I have ran a Ryzen 5 2600 and a Ryzen 7 2700x in this board and both perform perfectly. 1000watt supply and almost no issues getting everything running.

I don’t know much about Motherboards in terms of performance value but for this stripped down B450 I have had zero issues and just under a month since paring this with a Ryzen 2600 Super fast and amazing build quality and aesthetics! Also best bios I have ever used and easy to overclock!

This is a great mobo for the price. Easy to navigate BIOS, easy overclocking functionality, plenty of ports and other great features. And it looks awesome!

Built a new computer with the B450 Tomahak board using the latest Ryzen 9 3800X processor and latest firmware. Very stable and excellent performance at a great price.

Just got this motherboard all setup, works flawlessly with AMD ryzen processor with 16gb of ram. Would definitely recommend.

The motherboard shipped with no problems. Packaged well and shipped in a timely manner. All the parts were there in the box and it booted right up. I Love how bestbuy is selling cpu parts now.

This mobo installed with out a hitch, everything installed as expected. Only thing that wasn’t there is a port to plug in the usb-c for the front of my case.

VRAM is great on this board, new bios update makes overclocking possibilities endless.

Great vrm on this budget board. Has flash back for firmware updates with a need for a cpu in the socket.

Buy this at your own risk. Do research, this board is NOT Ryzen 3000 ready. You need a 2000 chip to update the bios. Tried flashing and a bunch of other things. Ended up refunding. Do not buy for 3000 series

The B450 Tomahawk has a plethora of overclocking abilities built in, can handle today's fast/overclocked X-AMP RAM profiles (and beyond). It also has programmable LEDs on the board for those who dig that stuff. Installation was easy per instructions. Keep in mind that the board's packaging will indicate if it is ready for Ryzen 3000 series AM4 chips (3600, 3600X) - if it says 3000 series ready, then the BIOS has already been flashed for the new chips. If not, then the BIOS will need to be reflashed prior to use. I would guess that most old stock (no-reflashed) MBs have been depleted from stock, but just be aware.

This motherboard is very beautiful, works well with all builds. Has a lot of features and the BIOS is clean and easy to use. The BIOS is simple and clean. It's fairly easy to understand and use.

If your looking for a great sized mother board with RGB lighting, and a beautiful sleek design with a great amount of space, the B450 Tomahawk is an excellent motherboard. My absolute favorite part about the motherboard is the the design. You have a robotic look to the mother board with LED lighting on the right side enabling you to add color to your build which can also be customized through the, "Mystic Light" MSI app which can be installed on your PC to customize other MSI products that have LED lighting as well as the motherboard. I chose this product over most other motherboard for the great price and flaring look to it as well as the LED lighting. Overall the product itself has went up and beyond my expectations with strengths such as affordability, sleekness of design, and the size of the motherboard itself. The only weakness I would account on at all is the fact that the graphics card slot covers up the 2nd MSI logo after placing in a graphics card. Other than that an amazing motherboard, with excellent performance, style, and build quality!
