    Bought this for a budget gamer. It's functioning just fine, but kind of wished I'd purchased the Max version: Need to flash to latest BIOS for Ryzen 3 (which is easy withe the flashback function---10 stars for THAT!)...when you do that on this MOBO, the BIOS loses all of the fancy, nice to have visuals and such. The Max version is already set up for 3rd gen Ryzen. Overall, a decent board for those folks who aren't hard-core overclockers/tweakers.

    Everything worked as expected. The motherboard came with all of the necessary parts. All of the components had easy to access plugs. The only thing to note is that without a specific adapter, this board is not compatible with the CoolerMaster Hyper 212, which is what I used before getting this board. Not a downside, just something that should be mentioned.

    So my old Gigabyte X370 + Ryzen 1800X died when a water cooler exploded on it - and was desperate to find to find a readily available motherboard and CPU. I opted for the B450 Tomahawk because my local BestBuy had it in stock - but so far, no regrets. It works better with my old DDR4 3200 memory (my old mobo would only clock it at 3000), has great expandability, and just works.

    The motherboard was pretty easy to install and set up. Bios Flashback is a nice feature included with this motherboard. Had a lot of issues trying to get the motherboard to boot up when installing my Ryzen 5 3600, eventually got it to work and has been running fine for the most part. Still has stability issues while trying to overclock the system.

    Solid quality motherboard for AM4 builds. Have used in 2 builds so far with no issues. Only note - the M.2 screw is displayed in the manual as being preinstalled to the M.2 standoff, but it's actually in a really tiny loose plastic bag in the bottom of the box. Nearly missed it.
