This laptop is very well built and just love the colorful look I can give it. I have not yet fully played with the options to customize the colors but I have tried several games on it. Apex and many other play really well. The fan does get loud. I have my laptop elevated with a cooling fan stand. Overall I think this is a great machine, a bit expensive but looks great and feels great.

What can I say, this thing is a beast! It has great thermals for normal use, but if you are pushing it at all...you should get a cooling pad with fans. With my pad running the temps are amazingly cool 63C avg CPU and 55-60C on GPU. Excellent build quality, beautiful screen and surprisingly light for all its packin. Highly recommend!

Best option at the moment to play a 30 series GPU. The keyboard is great as it is made by SteelSeries. The software that came with it is not bad either but there’s the typical bloat ware. Keep an eye out for the dragon center. If you don’t have it set to extreme performance when gaming, you might not be using it to the full potential.

Runs hot right out of the box. Had a cooling tray under it and still thermal throttling. I recommend repasting the cpu and gpu in it to get those temps down. MSI is terrible at applying the paste, and it shows. 1080 screen is great with the 240 hz. Good laptop though and the RGB increases your gaming by 50 horse power

Incredible laptop so far! It has been able to run everything I've thrown at it with ease. This is my first gaming laptop so I don't have anything to compare it to. It runs cool consistently during intense gaming sessions as well, even though the fans can be loud when Cooler Booster is running.

Perfect gaming laptop and for a great price. I use it everyday and it easily runs ultra graphics setting on AAA titles. Battery life isn’t great so it needs to be plugged in but that’s to be expected

Love this laptop! Benchmarks are fantastic. I’d say it’s roughly 20% more powerful than the 2070 super. 240hz screen is lightning fast, and the thermals seem pretty good for a laptop of this power. Highly recommend.

It is a five star computer. I’m more than happy with this computer. I am a full time college student that games on their free time. That being said while the computer itself is awesome it is no where near issue free. I run windows on my computer that is the default. I have found an issue with external wireless mice. The mouse works fine but it duplicates a driver that can cause function keys to not work when if I don’t go in and manually disable the driver. Also with a recent update google chrome will not launch regularly, it will launch to just a white window unless I launch it using the troubleshooter. Overall, this is an awesome and, for me , powerful computer but with that said some personal software and programs don’t always run as error free as on my old Alienware.

No big difference from 2070 super version, but at least it is 30 series gpu. CPU sucks, 10750H is a garbage because it heats up to 80 degree Celsius even you are playing a typical game (about 40% ).

Not a top-tier gaming laptop but it's close to the top, much faster than the previous 2000 series models. Compared to other models coming out with the 3000 series Best Buy has a competitive price. There was a Bios upgrade on MSI's website, after updating most of the MSI software upgraded to newer versions as well.

so far I love my new MSI laptop. On my old laptop, I had some lag when playing WoW. On this new laptop, the lag is gone and the graphics are way crisper ! Feels like a solid computer.

This laptop is amazing. Handles all my games very well. I got the alienware M15 R4 first but returned it for this and happy I did. This runs 10-20 degrees cooler. At idle with a .7 undervolt it's running at 43 C. If you turn on the Geforce battery saver while discontinued from AC it actually has very decent battery for a gaming laptop. I couldn't recommend this laptop more.

Very powerful laptop, definitely had some issues with heating and eventually a motherboard replacement. Get the geek squad coverage and it's a good buy.

I just got my MSI GE66 but so far so good! The display image is amazing compared to my previous laptop. Also the performance speed is amazing! Everything is so snappy. I've been playing Warzone and I benchmarked around a solid 135 FPS at 1080p. I've only used the built in display so far but once I get things settled in I'm going to hook it into my 2k Curved Dell Monitor and see how well it does but I'm for sure it can manage no problem. It looks cool too. Super light and the RGB control is killer. I'm extremely excited to use this laptop to its full potential.

The laptop has exceeded my expectations. The build quality is premium and it runs really fast. I love the RGB lighting. I love this machine.

Great gaming computer. plays all the latest games at high fps. And at ultra settings has a great display as well.

Laptop is great all around. It’s a beast and with extreme mode the Fans are loud, does not bother me. If you want to upgrade to 64 GB of Ram, it is hard to find many suppliers at this time for the 3200MhZ Ram. It runs about $300 and like the original it will step down to 2800 ish. Research the monitors to understand the options and if they line up with your ports capabilities, also order the high end cable with good reviews and correct ends, assuming you purchased a monitor,

best laptop for gaming and graphics work. this was my first purchase of a high end machine and very much happy with the purchase. Even more happy because BB had a good discount going on that time. I liked the keyboard, get good feedback on the key press. Generally I liked the MSI products. Only one thing I didn't like is the proprietary charging connector, very weird design. overall excellent machine!!!
