AWESOME w/ 1 Drawback

Only one drawback, it doesn't have a CD-ROM drive and you'll need an external one to install software from disks. *Please note, if you do install from an external CD-ROM drive or transport programs over from an external-portable HD, this laptop will automatically add it to the 250GB SSD, unless you direct the installation to the 1TB HD. Just an FYI... -MGB

Everything I needed

However, I use it mostly for my hobbies which keep me on the go. I am a geocacher and amateur photographer, so I travel frequently, hence the need for a laptop. I also dabble in some videography and have a camera or two that will record in 4K that was the biggest driving influence for this laptop. It hasn't disappointed me yet.

excellent powerful laptop

While it's branded as a gaming laptop, it provides sufficient CPU power and RAM for my video editing needs. I read the reviews and followed the recommendation to do a clean Windows install, but I didn't see a need to volt down the CPU yet. As of now, I am very happy with the laptop.

AWESOME Gaming Laptop

It's just as powerful as my desktop and can handle anything I throw at it. It was packaged in such a way that I think it would survive a fall from a 2 story window and is built very well. I would HIGHLY recommend this laptop for anyone looking for a gaming laptop.
