Great Gaming Laptop... Runs like a Ferrari... Would Highly recommend this MSI Machine.

Fantastic hardware in this laptop, unfortunately it runs a tiny bit hot (not an issue if you undervolt the CPU by ~.1) The screen is absolutely terrible though. Terrible colors. Terrible viewing angle. It really did prevent this laptop from being perfect. The TN panel is a best buy exclusive whereas this model comes with an IPS panel at other stores. I ordered a IPS replacement screen and hope that it works well.

First off, this is an amazing laptop. I've gone from using 400 to 500 dollar laptops, and this is a fantastic upgrade. Between the i7, the 970, the amount of ram and storage, the hardware on this thing is spectacular. Gaming is smooth and easy. I play games like CSGO and BF4, both of which run smoothly, without lag, at high settings. The only thing is when gaming, the laptop gets loud and warm from running the intense platforms, but there is a button next to the power button that turbo boosts the fans, which though noisy cools down the laptop. From a design standpoint, the laptop itself looks appealing. Between the steel finish on the outside of the laptop, to the red accents, its a nice looking laptop. When typing, the keys feel sturdy, and the backlit keyboard is a nice touch. I am very much in love with my purchase, and I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to buy a laptop that will play games, and run intensive software at a good price.

Great system, with ridiculously good engineering. Such power in SUCH a small package. A few things to be aware of before you buy, though. MSI makes this model with many configurations, and the Best Buy config you'll find in stores (this model) has a really poor quality TN panel. If you don't care about screen quality, you're good to go, but one of the first things I did was swap this screen with an IPS panel. Also, the fans get pretty loud. Not terribly so, considering the form factor, but good to note. Keep in mind that the 2.5" bay can be accessed easily but the m.2 drive requires disconnecting all motherboard cables and flipping the motherboard so is much less easy to get to. I haven't worked up the courage to replace it in my system, yet. The stock m.2 drive is okay but not the best. Pair this with a 500GB+ 860 EVO 2.5" drive and you've got a great system.

This laptop is fully loaded and for a reasonable price! The video card will tackle most of the today's games at full 1080 resolution and the solid state drive make this machine feel even quicker!

This is a great gaming laptop with a good gpu and cpu. Super lightweight too.

Awesome laptop and handles all my games great! The only I don't like is that it gets really hot. So either have a laptop cooling fan underneath it or buy the comparable MSI Apache Pro which has a built in turbo boost fan option to cool down the laptop when it gets too hot

I did a ton of research before purchasing the MSI Stealth and decided to roll with the ASUS ROG STRIX 1060 as my previous laptop was an ASUS and it lasted for 5 yrs. But that is where I cut ties with ASUS. I got the new Asus home and every time I ran it, the thing got super hot! Even just surfing the web it was getting hot. Eventually, I think the motherboard fried because after 34th day... it turned off and never turned on again. Took it back and exchanged for the MSI. The MSI laptop is awesome! Super fast and quiet. Does not get hot either. Keyboard has a nice tactile feel and the graphics/screen are amaze-balls. Its not 4k but its good. The laptop weighs 4 lbs! compared to my original Asus which tipped the scale at 13.2lb, its like night and day. I can actually take my gaming laptop places now. Its awesome, what more do you want??

Okay so i recently bought this MSI Gaming Laptop, the first one had some dust particles under the screen, but the computer is super fast, its able to handle all my gaming needs and artwork creations....but i did exchange it for another one, and i have not looked back since, i love how light and thin this laptop it....6gb gtx1060 inside this thin laptop, amazing

was on there black Friday deal was another $300 off normal price making it the best in its price range. had it for about 2 months now still no problems can play any game out as long as I have a cooling pad under it for how every long

I will be completely honest. I used to be a PC gamer before joining the world of consoles. It has been quite some time since then and didn't want to go back into building only because for work reasons. I wanted something portable for work but not heavy and bulky like a heavy duty gaming laptop. This laptop was a nice medium. It isn't at all heavy or bulky. I love the customization of the keys. I love that it can handle the few games I do play online. It runs smooth and clear. I really do love it in comparison to a lot of other laptops people were trying to sell me on. Even if I were to get another, I'd stick with the same brand and maybe just get a newer model of it. No complaints other than having USB ports on the left only but even that is only annoying because I have yet to get a wireless gaming mouse. =P

I got this device on black friday for a decent price and have been very happy with the laptop. Having a dual setup of both SSD and a traditional HDD means that you have both a speedy laptop, and plenty of space to store your games and media. The only things that would make this laptop better would be having a GTX1070 and having a GSYNC screen with a higher refresh rate.

Graphics are very clear and my son loves the colored keyboard.

Love this computer! Works great for gaming and photo editing.

Everythig great in this laptop except the battery life.. so if you want to use it for work its not the one for you.. But in gaming mode he run like a horse!! In this price i want to get better battery next time!! Enjoy and good luck
