Customer Ratings & Reviews

I enjoy the features for this motherboard. I am pleased with the cost. I have not had any issues.

Great motherboard, love the looks and has all the features i was looking for at a reasonable price

Paired with 9800X3D and 6000c28 RAM. Although the motherboard can support up to 8400 memory frequency, 6000 frequency is the optimal solution for AMD CPU. In addition, MSI x870 motherboard also supports one-click AI overclocking, which can further squeeze the performance of CPU.

Works flawlessly! Pc runs max settings with no issues.

Is perfect for OC and gaming, the bios update from MSI have a lot of new options, I try it with the ryzen 7 9800X3D and the performance is a beast, I think this combo is meta for gaming right now

Works incredibly for my Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Plus I caught it on sale, so it was a double bonus.

Great product over joyed will highly recommend. Love new am5 chipset

Top of the line! Built my pc with this r7 9800x3d and rtx 4090 it’s runs like a beast

The build quality seems pretty solid, the components seem durable, but the pcie locations are atrocious especially the lowest x4 slot. The power adapter block prevents any kind of additional graphics card from fitting along with all of the audio/USB etc pins. The upper x1 slot would have been perfect, why wouldn't they just place the x1 on the bottom...

Can't complain, it's been working great, I made my own computer and I was looking exactly this motherboard

Its great motherboard , its have small issues but can beat the price. New future on gpu and ssd mounting are perfect as small display with codes makes its great

Installed it once. Haven't thought about it since.

Works great! Paired this with a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, its blazing fast!!

One of the best motherboards on the market and compares great with my ryzen 7 9800x3d. Load games super fast

Good motherboard for 7890x3d, first one I received wouldn’t post but second works, make sure to update bios before fully setting up in pc, no issues so far, price is a little high but worth it for the x870e model

Spent a lot of time researching AM5 motherboards and this one truly shined among the rest as far as price and features that I was looking for. I've used both ASUS and MSI motherboards in the past and MSI tends to be the choice that I prefer due to the BIOS/UEFI layout. This motherboard is physically built very well and is very high quality. I especially love the E-Z clip on and off heatsinks for the NVMe SSD drives and the E-Z push button to lock and unlock the GPU. Overall, I am very pleased and happy with the MSI MAG X870E Tomahawk. Definitely a motherboard I would buy again.

Used this board to replaced a failed Asrock x870e Nova. Works flawlessly.

the best motherboard for the price!!!! I would recommend

Got it for my stepson for his build. He’s been eyeballing this one .it looks super nice and I bet it will rock. Pairing it with the 9800 x3d can’t wait to get him going

I've seen bad reviews of this motherboard, but in my case it worked like a charm, just got it and installed it, no problems at all, 5 out of 5 stars.
